Bogotá
Day 1-3
The Colombian capital is the largest city in the country with 8 million inhabitants. Surrounded by many parks, you can enjoy the unforgettable sunset from the mountain top Monserrate with spectacular views of the metropolis of millions. We will also make a day trip to El Parque de la Sal, where we will visit an underground salt cathedral in an old gallery.

Chinchiná
Day 3-6
Colombia's coffee triangle offers the best highland coffee in Colombia and is the fourth largest coffee producer in the world with its mild Arabica beans. Extensive walks through the coffee plantations will allow you to enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage Site. In addition, a local coffee farmer will show us in a tour how the black gold is extracted from the red coffee fruit. With a side trip to Quindío, the smallest department in the coffee triangle, or Valle de Cocora you can admire the largest palm tree in the world. The endangered wax palm is the national tree of Colombia.

Medellín
Day 6-8
Also called the Culumbian open air museum, as it is the city of eternal spring and flowers bloom throughout the year. With permanently perfect thermals, the highland town is known for its inexpensive paragliding tours. (A paragliding tour is not on the schedule, but we can decide spontaneously on the spot). In town is the original plane from Pablo Escobar's first smuggling flight to America. We will make a day trip to Guatapé and climb the rock El Penon Colombia, from where we can admire the impressive lake plateau.

Santa Marta
Day 8-14
We will fly from Medellin to Santa Marta in the morning in a one-hour flight. In addition to day destinations such as to Tagana for diving, Santa Marta offers itself as an insider tip on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. In the Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona is a place, the highest coastal mountain range in the world, deserted sandy beaches can be discovered. There we will do a two to three day hike with a guide.

Cartagena
Day 14-16
Cartagena, the richest, most modern and most famous city in Colombia, considers itself the Manhattan of South America. The historic old town is surrounded by freshly spruced-up colonial chic, via the former city palace of the Spanish viceroys to arcades of the old customs house. Colombia's largest port was once used to ship gold, oil and other valuable commodities to Spain. We will have a local guide explain the city and the history behind it in more detail.

Panama City
Day 16-24
Finally, we will sail with Blue Sailing for 5 days across the gorgeous Caribbean Sea from Cartagena to Panama City. This unforgettable tour includes several stops on deserted islands with gorgeous beaches. Delicious food and drinks on the boat provide the perfect finishing touch to this trip. Here we will relax and review the trip as we sail to Panama City and the breathtaking skyline of Central America.

Day 24-26
Let's go to San Gil, the Eldorado for extreme sports. Whether rafting, bungee jumping, trekking, cannyoning, mountain biking or paragliding, there is something for everyone.

Day 28-30
Cartagena the richest, most modern and famous city considers itself as Manhattan of South America. The historic old town surrounded by freshly spruced up colonial chic, over the former city palace of the Spanish viceroys to arcades of the old customs house. With the largest port from which gold, oil and other valuable commodities were once shipped to Spain, Colombia celebrates her independence.
