This will be a 2 week guided trip from Lhasa, Tibet to Kathmandu, Nepal. I have organized the itinerary in coordination with a local operator to be unique and include the most fascinating parts of Tibet that many people do not have the chance to see! Pricing includes accommodation, entrance fees, private guide, private driver and vehicle as well as breakfasts. This is set by the tour provider. Please note that this does not include flights and meals (most lunches and dinners). Including trekking the Tibetan Kailash Kora pilgrimage route and some very unknown parts of this region. This is an adventure-style trip with real physical and environmental challenges: *) Altitude up to ~5,000+ meters *) 3-day trekking experience (Kailash Kora) *) Travel through remote areas with basic conditions 👉 This trip is best suited for: *) Fit and active travelers *) Those comfortable with trekking and altitude *) Travelers open to simple, authentic experiences Preparation is important, and I strongly recommend researching altitude conditions and how to adapt safely.

Hi, I'm Tristan, I usually do solo backpacking trips and have been balancing traveling with a full time job. When it makes sense with the destination I open up trips to other people too. I have organized group trips like this through Mongolia and Namibia in the past and I am excited to do another group trip, this time to Tibet! I have experience crating such bespoke itineraries in the past such as a 4-day horseback trek in the remote Mongolian wilderness as well as a road trip through the Gobi and the Naadam Festival. Additionally I have organized and led a road trip through Namibia so remote and off-the-beaten path experiences are something I am very comfortable with.

Accommodation will be arranged in advance and includes a mix of: *) Comfortable hotels in major stops *) Guesthouses and monastery stays in remote areas 👉 Rooms are shared by default 👉 Private rooms may be arranged upon request (additional cost) Please note that in remote regions, accommodation can be more basic, which is part of the overall experience. This is not a standard trip, it’s a shared expedition designed for curious and adventurous travelers who want to experience Tibet in a deeper and more authentic way. If this sounds like your kind of journey, feel free to reach out, I’d be happy to share more details and see if it’s a good fit 😊
