Hello all, my name is Mathias (21). I study Sustainable Development at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences and have been interested in the countries of Central Asia for several years. The still very young history of the independent states since the end of the Soviet Union and the different cultures along the Silk Road have taken my fancy. The Central Asian states are among the least perceived in the international discourse and are therefore typical travel destinations only to a limited extent, but there is a lot to see from steppes, deserts, high mountains and one of the starkest contrasts between bitterly poor countryside and imposing capitals. Specifically, I have so far planned to fly on 10.08.19 from FRA to Astana (Nursultan) to fight my way from there by train and shared cab south to Kyrgyzstan. In Kyrgyzstan I would like to go hiking for a week. From there it's then the last week to Uzbekistan. On 31.08.19 I fly from Tashkent back to FRA. If I have piqued your interest, but could not yet fully convince you of this unique adventure, then feel free to write to me and I will give you some more information worth knowing. For your information: The mentioned countries are visa-free for German citizens. About the organization: I would like to stay as flexible as possible, i.e. I will buy hostels & train tickets spontaneously. Changes in the route are possible if we change our mind on the spot. Accommodation, transport and activities I would like to plan in advance with you to some extent together and ask because of this no fee. I offer here less an organized trip than that I am looking for a travel partner. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Mathias
