Trip Itinerary
1
Monte lussari
Day 1
We will start our trip after picking you up either in Villach/Gemona in the morning. Then we will go ski or snowboarding in Monte Lussari. Monte Lussari: A peak overlooking the land where the Carnic and Julian Alps come together, from a position of privilege that positions it as the guardian of these borderlands and the meeting place of Latin, Slavic, and Germanic peoples: Mount Lussari is much more than a peak that touches 1800 m! It is an exceptional terrace over the giants of the Julian Alps: from here, your eyes are lost in the majesty of the rock walls of Jof di Montasio, Jof Fuart, and Mangart from a viewpoint that is without a doubt privileged and unparalleled. In the white winter of Tarvisio and Mountain Lussari, the thrilling Di Prampero slope that descends the northern flanks of the mountain is challenging terrain for the most expert skiers, drawing international competition to its ski slopes.
2
Laghi di Fusine
Day 1
If we have enough time after ski we will go to the Fusine Lakes are one of the most distinctive corners of the mountains in Friuli Venezia Giulia, is a unique world of nature. Two basins of glacial origin, one upper and the other lower are connected by an underground system of waters that turn to ice in winter in one of the coldest corners of Italy. The magic of the cold in Fusine is the white story of the frost that draws its crystals on the icy surface of these basins or the white powdery blanket that covers the forest, leaving room for white paths where you can explore the wonder with snowshoes or skis. **see pictures for accommodation reference
3
Sappada
Day 1-2
On the second day, it's also dedicated for ski/snow boarding, but in different location. The village of Sappada is a pure mountain resort, on the northern slopes of the Dolomites, which still retains its ancient traditions: from the characteristic wooden houses to the Sappadino dialect which has remained unchanged for centuries; from local crafts to the production of typical cheeses and cold cuts.
4
Goriuda waterfall
Day 2
After lunch we will visit Goriuda waterfall, A flow of icy water from the upper grotto leaps over the valley, then plunges into the crystal-clear pool of water at the base of the cascade, in the steamy atmosphere of a lush beech forest.
5
Venzone
Day 2-3
One of the most beautiful villages in northern Italy. Since 1965 Venzone is declared a National Monument as the only fortified village of the Region in the fourteenth century and then one of the most extraordinary examples of architectural and artistic restoration. Before the trip finishes, we will do a small walk and lucnh around the lake of cavazzo enjoy our last moment together Please book a train that leaves after 14:00 - The trip is finish at Maximum 15:00 Drop back to Gemona shortly after
