Day 1-4
The starting point of our trip. Chengdu, one of China’s most captivating cities—a place where traditions, world famous cuisine, and laid-back modern life blend into a warm and unforgettable experience. Is the Heart of Sichuan and Gateway to the Himalayas Known for its giant pandas, - we´ll go to see them up close - historic temples, lively tea houses, and flavourful Sichuan dishes, Chengdu offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately feels welcoming. It’s the perfect base for exploring both the charm of local traditions and the dramatic landscapes of western China, making it an ideal starting point for a inspiring and memorable group adventure. From here, majestic landscapes await: the Tibetan-influenced towns of western Sichuan, snow-capped mountains, ancient monasteries, and natural parks like Siguniangshan. It’s the ideal hub for a seeking both comfort and exploration. We´ll stay at Sonderia, a great and comfortable hostel with international atmosphere. The place is hosting a bar and restaurant, where they organize live music events with local Chinese singers. We will start visiting the impressive biggest stone Buddha statue in the world at 233 feet (71 m) high - Giant Buddha of Leshan - the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and dive into the city most authentic food market.

Chongqing
Day 4-6
Next destination is probably the most fascinating Chinese city nowadays. 2-3 hours ride with speed train from Chengdu lays the infamous Chongqing. The World’s most complex vertical city and probably the biggest city worldwide (32 million people). Built on dramatic cliffs, Chongqing is basically a real-life video game level: buildings stacked like Jenga towers, roads that jump between floors, and escalators so long you might question your life choices halfway up. Here, hotpot isn’t just a meal. This the capital city and birthplace of hotpot. It is really delicious and spicy! We´ll discover the city highlights, including the stunning night views of Hongya Cave and Qian Simen Bridge. We will go on a walking guided tour through more traditional and less touristic and abandoned parts of the city and of course, we will enjoy the famous, spicy🌶️and authentic hot pot . We will stay at KaoYu Hotel. Located on the15th floor of a building, offering comfortable rooms with city views, Cantonese-Sichuan style food restaurant, small gym and a terrace with garden

Siguniangshan Town
Day 6-8
Time to get closer to the mountains. About 4 hours drive from Chengdu, we will arrive to Siguniangshan Town. Is a beatitiful small town in Xiaojin County in the Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan. It is a main base for visiting Mount Siguniang national Park. Lies at roughly 3,160 meters above sea level, and the population are mainly Tibetan. This is our first taste with the Tibetan culture and also the Tibetan cuisine Pack your hiking shoes/boots because we will get a bit active and go for a day hike on the scenic Haizi Valley. Haizi is a valley in the Mount Siguniang National Park known for its numerous alpine lakes (Haizi), rugged terrain, and stunning views of the Four Sisters peaks. We will stay at Four Sisters Mountain Knapsac, a modest but comfortable hotel by the edge of the town. The manager, Beta is a lovely Tibetan woman who always has a smile on her face and has such a good heart, giving the place a family vibe.

Kangding
Day 8
After Siguniang, real adventure awaits. Get ready for an unforgettable escape into the heart of Sichuan’s Tibetan region. Over a 3-day guided driving tour, we’ll travel through some of the most stunning landscapes in China – from the dynamic mountain town of Kangding to the wide-open, soul-stirring Tagong Grasslands. We’ll have our own driver for three full days, giving us the flexibility to stop whenever we want – for photos, views, temples, wildlife, or just to breathe in the fresh mountain air. Think about vast green plains, grazing yaks, Tibetan villages, horsemen riding across the horizon, and the majestic snow-capped Gongga (7,556 meters) and Mt. Yala in the background.

Tagong Grassland
Day 8-11
We’ll visit the sacred Tagong Monastery, prayer-flag-covered hills, hidden temples, nomadic settlements, traditional Tibetan homes and Tagong and Kanding towns – all easily accessible thanks to our flexible driving route. The highlight will be an authentic horse-riding day experience into the wild grassland and Tibetan villages 3 nights stay will be in a cozy chalet in the nature surrounded by silence, stars, and sweeping grassland views. Wake up to sunrise lighting up the mountains and enjoy the peaceful beauty of Tagong before the day even begins (one full chalet for every 2 people) The place offers a sun terrace, lush garden, and a family-friendly restaurant serving Chinese, Sichuan, and Asian cuisines, with a bar, coffee shop, and outdoor seating areas.

Chengdu
Day 11-13
After our unforgettable journey through Tibet, we’ll return to Chengdu by car for the final two days of the trip. These last days 24th April /25th April are completely flexible, giving us the freedom to plan according to our own rhythm and interests. We can explore more of Chengdu’s amazing restaurants, visit the famous Tianfu Square, go shopping, rent a bike to ride along the city ring at night and admire the spectacular skyline, discover the Tibetan quarter “Little Lhasa,” or visit other temples such the beautiful Wenshu Monastery, located walking distance from our hotel, among many other options. For our final night -Saturday-, as a perfect wrap-up to this group adventure, we will go out to experience Chengdu’s vibrant nightlife. For those who feel like joining, we’ll dive into the local club scene—an area known for its illuminated bridges, lively bars, and endless live music.
