Georgia is a hidden paradise, that is still not "touristy", but it is gaining popularity among travelers. Tbilisi, the capital, is full of adventure, yummy food, and places that we can visit. 🗺️ About the trip: We are 2 friends planning this trip, and we want 2-3 like-minded people to join us. We will spend our time, exploring together the old Tbilisi 🏛️, unveiling its hidden gems, relax in one of the sulphur baths 🧖♀️, eat some Khinlaki, Ostri, and more traditional dishes 🍲 visit the Narikala Fortress, go up to the Mtatsminda Park by a funicular, search for the waterfall in the botanical garden, as well as the Japanese garden, go on a day trip to Uplistsikhe, and a day trip to Sighnaghi, plus more of other fun, unconventional activities that we will try to fit into 5 days.

Tbilisi
Day 1-2
We will meet at the accommodation in the capital, settle in, and get to know each other. We will go on a walk in the Freedom Square, pass by the Clock Tower, and the Bridge of Peace, passing by many architectures and arts on our way, arriving to the famous Holy Trinity cathedral.

Uplistsikhe
Day 2
Uplistsikhe is an ancient cave town close to Gori, and it is a must see when visiting Geogia. We will rent a car for a smooth transportation to this location. We will also visit the medival citadel in Gori

Chronicle of Georgia
Day 2-3
This stop will be next the Tbilisi sea. We will go to the Chronicals of Georgia, and we will finally return to the city, explore the underground markets, the dry bridge market, and shop for souvenirs.

Sighnaghi
Day 3-4
Sighnaghi, known as Georgia’s “city of love,” is a small hilltop town with great views of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains. We’ll walk the old city walls, visit Bodbe Monastery, and stop in the town center for a wine tasting and local snacks. It’s a laid-back stop with history, views, and a taste of Kakheti’s wine culture.

Mtatsminda Park
Day 4
This park is all about having fun and relaxing. It is located at the top of the Mount Mtatsminda, and offers a great view for the Tbilisi city. We will go up using the funicular, have a meal in on the cafés, and jump on the huge Ferris-wheel.

National Botanical Garden
Day 4-5
Next to the famous Narikala Fortress, we will walk in the National Botanical Garden, discovering the beautiful nature, the Japanese botanical garden, and the waterfalls. This is a great escape in nature.

Abanotubani
Day 5
After this long walk in the city and in nature, it is time for some wellness treatment in one of the sulphur baths in Tbilisi. We can choose between public and private bath, and absorb all the health benefits we can get. This experience is so different from the ones in other cities, and we will experience it together.
