We will travel by train (Interrail) from Spain to Portugal and back. The starting point and destination will be Barcelona. Then we will go via Madrid to Lisbon. In Portugal we will go once north to Porto and south to Albufeira. Then it goes again to Spain, to Cadiz. Optionally afterwards to Valencia or directly back to Barcelona.
We will use hostels for the most part. These have a minimum rating of 7.5 on Hostelworld.

Gothic Quarter, Mont Juic and Olympic Stadium. We will stroll through the narrow, typically Spanish streets, see Barcelona from above, supply ourselves with regional delicacies at the markets. But of course we will also visit the sights like the Rambla, the Sagrada Familia (opt. also from the inside) and the Parc Guell.

Madrid
Day 3-5
In Madrid there is an abundance of sights. We decide on the spot which ones to see. A small selection: Prado, Royal Palace, stadium of the soccer club "Real Madrid". But Madrid is also a city where you can just stroll through the streets and always discover a lot.

Lisbon
Day 5-7
A walk along the Tagus River, a breathtaking view over the city as well as a colorful nightlife await us in Lisbon. Of course, also the sights like the Rossio Plaza, a ride with the streetcar line 28 and the Basilica da Estrela.

Porto
Day 7-9
In Porto we can expect the typical port wine, a lively nightlife and bridges to marvel at.

Albufeira
Day 9-11
In Albufeira we let our souls dangle on one of the wonderful beaches.

Cádiz
Day 11-13
Cadiz is a nice little town with a wonderful beach, a lively nightlife and places to stay.

Valencia
Day 13-15
Our last stop takes us to Valencia. There we marvel at the natural science museums, enjoy an original Valencia Niche Paella and let ourselves be impressed by the architecture.
