Coworking trip
Hi! My name is Lisa and I am happy you found your way to this CoWorking trip! 😊 💻 🏝 I am a passionate traveler at heart and decided to follow the saying: Work hard, play hard! Whereas "play hard" in this case is relaxing on the beach, exploring the area, or going for sundowners! :) As a person, I am open-minded, easy-going, and always down to go get up extra early for sunrise or hike just a little longer for a great few. For a while now, I have only ever done one thing at a time: advance my education/career or travel. While I still worked in multiple countries, it was never location-independent work. Coming from a "traditional" mindset, it took me a while to realize: I can actually do both too! Even though I have seen people do it all the time, it only made "click" when I met a friend while traveling who inspired me to just go for it and make it work. So here I am, inviting you to join me! The obvious reasons for Portugal speak for themselves: mesmerizing beaches, waves that make a surfer´s heart beat faster, and, of course, the good weather! BUT it has much more to offer and for digital nomads, this location is a paradise. Like-minded people, many modern CoWorking spaces, and a lot of fun things to do in your free time! For an afternoon trip or a day off, there are several options that I will post below as stops with photos for you to check out. The highlights are: 1.) Sintra 2.) Cabo de Roca 3.) Lissabon 4.) Praia do Guincho Who am I looking for? If that description speaks to you, then you! :) People who are open-minded and would like to share a space to work, make new friends, go for a swim, and cook together (I have heard I make really good pasta!) or go out for dinner. We will use the app splitwise to split any shared costs for food when we buy things together. FAQ: Location: more information about the location coming soon! Covid-19 requirements: as the regulations are subject to change, please check out this site: https://www.visitportugal.com/en/content/covid-19-measures-implemented-portugal Included: 2 week stay in a house/big flat in Ericeira or Cascais Friends you haven´t met yet! Opportunities to connect, surf, relax, and chill together while being productive in the mornings/during the day What else? I am looking forward to meeting you, enjoying relaxed afternoons at the beach together or try surfing! I am also a yoga instructor and happy to do some yoga in the mornings! 🧘‍♀️😊 If you have any questions don´t hesitate to contact me! I am looking forward to hearing from you. 🌺

Trip Itinerary
1

Ericeira

Day 1-15
We will rent a house in the area of Ericeira or Cascais. Great places to go to the beach, surf, discover the city, or go on a day trip to Lisbon! The rooms will be shared.
2

Sintra

Day 15
Sintra is a small town known for its pastel-colored villas and palaces. The Moorish- and Manueline-style Sintra National Palace is distinguished by dramatic twin chimneys and elaborate tilework. The most well-known attraction is the hilltop 19th-century Pena National Palace which looks like a princess castle right out of a children´s book. The view is quite impressive too! Short drive by car, but can also be accessed by public transport. There is also an option to book a day trip starting in Lisbon which includes Cascais, Cabo de Roca, and Sintra all in one day with the option of a pick up for 60 Euros.
3

Cabo da Roca

Day 15
At Cabo da Roca or Cape Roca you are finding yourself at the westernmost point of not only mainland Portugal but also of continental Europe and the whole Eurasian land mass. As I have already been there I can ensure you it is worth it going there, the view along the coast is stunning! accessible by bus as well
4

Lisbon

Day 15
Lisbon of course! It´s about a 40minutes drive away and definitely worth visiting. Things to do: try Pastéis de Nata, the typical (and delicious!) Portuguese custard tarts, listen to live Fado music while drinking Sangria, join a graffiti tour and check out the beautiful Praca do Comercia. It is easy to walk around Lisbon without any transport as everything is fairly close. Otherwise, you can use one of the beautiful yellow tramways which is an experience itself! You will come across nice views, artsy graffiti, and the typical tile wall houses. There are many more sights to see, you should definitely plan a stop there!
5

Praia do Guincho

Day 15
Pictures say more than a thousand words! And this ones is very beautiful! There are many beaches close by. In the area we are staying in it is easy to find a surf school if you want to give surfing a try! 🏄🏼‍♀️ 🏄🏼 🌊
