Extend your Summer in Sicily - experience (active) Volcanos + personal freedom

In this no-fly trip we won't waste time for transportation but use comfy and safe night connections instead. The trip is designed to offer a balance between shared experiences and personal freedom. You can join the activities that interest you, while still having plenty of time for your own plans and interests. The official part of the trip will start in Genova where we will board the night-ferry to Palermo. I will be in Genova before but I recommend you to spend some time in the region (eg visit Portofino and hike Cinqueterre villages or we can meet up before already in Genova if want). So Friday night we will hop on the ferry with sleeper cabin and arrive in Palermo for a summer extension. In Palermo we will connect with other travelers, enjoy the sun with many daytrip options. It is up to you what to do on the day of arrival and on the next day. I would love to do some sightseeing with the group. We will then go to Cefalù which you might know from the White Lotus. There we will check into our B&B, chill at the beach and from there do the following day's activity. Then comes the important part: DAYTRIPS: - I booked Mount Etna AND a Stromboli Boat trip - ONE of the 2 will take place. I strongly prefer the Stromboli Boat trip as this is an active Volcano. In case weather conditions are bad, this one cannot be done tho. So I have 2 options and we have to decide based on the conditions. Right after the Daytrip, a Night-train which is loaded on a ferry will take us to Rome overnight where our trip will end for your individual planning. I will stay in Rome, too but will work from there, so I am still there for any recommendations!
