Hi, I'm Hubert. Professional sailing skipper, sailing instructor and philanthropist. As there is a great demand in my sailing community for sailing in the beautiful Lofoten Islands, I am offering this trip for the first time next year. I love sailing and nature very much and look forward to experiencing this adventure with you and 9 other fellow sailors.

We are traveling with a well-equipped and safe sailing yacht. Here are the details: Bavaria Cruiser 51 Length: 15.6 m, width: 4.6 m, draught: 2.4 m Engine: 72 hp 5 cabins, each with 2 berths on board 3 toilets, 3 showers, 1 stern shower Equipment: autopilot, bow thruster, dinghy+outboard, radar, heating, etc.

Day 1-2
Our journey begins here and we move together onto our sailing boat, which is moored in the marina in Harstad. You can arrive by plane/bus, your own car or train/bus. On the first day we go shopping and get to know each other. In the evening we go out for dinner.

Day 2-3
After the safety briefing, we set sail. On Saturday we sail through the fjords towards the southwest. We enjoy nature and get to know each other as a group and the sailing boat even better. We choose a nice anchorage for the night.

Henningsvær

Day 3-4
We sail on and enjoy the great winds of the north. We find a nice spot for the night in Henningsvær. The Venice of the North. A colorful, lively little island town with lots to discover.

Day 4-5
Then we head deeper and deeper into the beautiful and legendary island world of Lofoten. Away from the mass tourists, we sail through beautiful fjords in pristine waters and hike up majestic mountains.

Day 5-6
If we are lucky, we will also see whales. According to the statistics, the chances are very good. We might also see the northern lights. We will definitely enjoy nature and soak up the beauty of the Lofoten Islands.

Day 6-7
On the open Atlantic, we get to know the vastness of the sea and the absolute freedom of a sailing boat. In the evening, we look for a nice and safe spot in an anchorage bay. What we definitely have with us are fishing rods, because you are allowed to fish in Norwegian waters and there are plenty of fish.

On Thursday evening, we arrive at our final stop in Svolvær. Here we spend a lovely last evening together and talk about the highlights and adventures we have experienced together.

After a quick breakfast, we clear the boat and pack up our seven things. Everyone has to be off the boat by 9 a.m., because the next group, which will also be spending a week in the Lofoten Islands, is already waiting.
