Join me on an adventurous road trip from Switzerland to Norway, heading towards the beautiful west coast around Bergen. This journey is all about exploring nature, discovering remote places, and enjoying the freedom of life on the road. We’ll spend most of our time outdoors, camping in scenic locations, cooking together, and making spontaneous stops along the way. The route is flexible, but the main goal is to experience Norway’s incredible landscapes, from mountains and fjords to quiet hidden spots. This is a shared, cost-based trip, where we split major expenses such as fuel, car usage, and other travel-related costs fairly within the group. You’re also welcome to join for part of the journey if the full trip doesn’t fit your schedule. The Car & Setup We’ll be traveling in a converted Toyota 4x4, fully equipped for road life and camping. ✔️ Rooftop tent (fits 2 people comfortably – approx. 170 cm wide) ✔️ Camping kitchen setup ✔️ Fridge ✔️ Outdoor shower ✔️ Plenty of gear for remote areas This setup allows us to stay in more isolated and beautiful locations while still keeping a good level of comfort. This trip is ideal if you: * Love nature, camping, and road trips * Are flexible and open to spontaneous plans * Don’t mind simple but comfortable outdoor living * Enjoy meeting new people and sharing experiences
Im 21 years old, love to travel and explore the world, be outdoors, explore new places and meet new people. I've been to Norway for a few weeks before and had a great time. New Zealand has been my absolute favourite place to travel so far and i would love to go back there some time.
Accommodation *) Mostly wild camping in nature *) Option to stay in hostels occasionally (e.g. bad weather or for a break) *) You can also bring your own tent if preferred 👉 Please note: Camping will be the main accommodation style, as we’ll be exploring more remote areas. If you’re looking for a unique and adventurous way to explore Norway, this trip could be a great fit for you. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, happy to chat and see if it’s a good match 😊

Trip Itinerary
1
Lucerne
Day 1
I will start in central Switzerland as I live there. But i have no problem with taking a little detour to pick you up. I will drive through Germany on the way up to Norway. Probably taking the ferry from Hirtshals up to Norway. I can pick you up anywhere along that route (+a little detour).
2
Sandefjord
Day 1-5
Taking the ferry from Hirtshalt leaves us in Sandefjord where we could then take the coastal highway all along southern Norway in the direction of Stavanger. We can visit the small towns, go wildcamping on the beach perhaps, do some fishing and whatever other idead you might bring to the trip.
3
Stavanger
Day 5-9
We’ll continue our journey from Stavanger towards Bergen, focusing on scenic routes through Norway’s beautiful landscapes. The plan is to follow a mix of quiet roads and gravel tracks where possible, offering a more immersive and adventurous driving experience while heading north. Along the way, we’ll enjoy remote nature, stunning viewpoints, and unique off-the-beaten-path spots.
4
Bergen
Day 9-22
In Bergen, we’ll take some time to explore the city and its surroundings at a relaxed pace. You can wander through the historic harbor, enjoy the coastal atmosphere, or discover nearby nature spots. There’s also the option to explore local activities together, depending on the group’s interest. The plan here is to keep things flexible while making the most of what this beautiful area has to offer.
5
Geilo
Day 22-27
Especially if we return through Sweden rather than taking the ferry we could also drive through the middle of Norway somewhere around Geilo. The nature in this part of Norway is stunning and there are many gravel roads leading through the countryside where you can see Norways raw nature.
6
Gothenburg
Day 27-29
Gothenburg depending on the final route. We can either take a direct ferry or enjoy a scenic drive through Sweden, which offers beautiful landscapes along the way. The exact route will be chosen based on group preference, balancing experience and travel efficiency while making the most of the journey.
7
Lucerne
Day 29
On the way back, we’ll return towards Lucerne with a smooth and efficient drive. Drop-offs can be arranged along the route back to Switzerland, as long as they are reasonably on the way. Once we leave Scandinavia, the focus will be on a comfortable and steady return journey.
