Hi, I’m Hubert. I’m a professional sailing skipper, sailing instructor, and people person. Since there’s a lot of interest in sailing in the beautiful Lofoten Islands within my sailing community, I’m offering this trip for the third time next year. I love sailing and nature very much, and I’m looking forward to experiencing this adventure with you and nine other crew members.

We’re sailing on a well-equipped and safe sailing yacht. Day 1-2
This is where our journey begins, and we’ll head together to our sailboat, which is moored at the marina in Harstad. You can get there by plane/bus, your own car, or train/bus. On the first day, we’ll go grocery shopping and get to know each other. In the evening, we’ll go out to dinner.

Day 2-3
After the safety briefing, we’ll set sail. On Saturday, we’ll sail through the fjords toward the southwest. We’ll enjoy the natural scenery and get to know each other as a group—and the sailboat—even better. We’ll pick out a nice anchorage for the night.

Henningsvær

Day 3-4
We continue sailing and enjoy the wonderful northern winds. For the night, we find a nice spot in Henningsvær—the Venice of the North—a colorful, lively little island town with plenty to discover.

Ramberg

Day 4-5
Then we head deeper and deeper into the beautiful and legendary archipelago of the Lofoten Islands. Away from the crowds of tourists, we sail through stunning fjords with pristine waters and hike up majestic mountains.

Day 5-6
If we're lucky, we might even see whales. According to the statistics, the odds are very good. We might also see the Northern Lights. In any case, we'll enjoy nature and soak up the beauty of the Lofoten Islands.

Unstad

Day 6-7
Out on the open Atlantic, we’ll experience the vastness of the ocean and the absolute freedom of a sailboat. In the evening, we’ll once again find a nice, safe spot in an anchorage. One thing we’ll definitely have with us is fishing gear, because fishing is allowed in Norwegian waters and there’s an abundance of fish.

Day 7-8
On Thursday evening, we’ll arrive at our final stop in Svolvær. Here, we’ll spend a lovely last evening together and share stories about the highlights and adventures we’ve experienced together.

After a quick breakfast, we tidy up the boat and pack our things. Everyone has to be off the boat by 9:00 a.m., because the next group is already waiting—they’ll also be spending a week exploring the Lofoten Islands.
