Hey :-) I'm doing a world tour from January 2020 and part of it is a round trip from Cape Town via Namibia, Botswana, Victora Falls (Zimbabwe), Lesotho back to Cape Town. For this I have rented a pickup truck with roof tent and camping equipment. Most of the nights we will spend in the wilderness or on campsites. My route planning in detail: -Cape Town -Springbok -Fish River Canyon -Lüderitz -Sesriem -Spitzkoppe -Etosha National Park -Chobe National Park -Victoria Falls -Okavango Delta -Kruger National Park -Blyde River / Gods Window -Lesotho -Port Elizabeth -Garden Route -Cape Town The travel budget of 2500€ per person is a rough estimate for pickup rental (2000€), gas (1000-1500) each /2 and camping fees/hostels. All in all you should calculate with about 4000€ on site, so above mentioned costs + food, 2-4 day safaris, entrance to national parks, visas etc. About me, I am 32 years old and still work as an electrical engineer (job will be quit for the world trip).I spend my free time with fitness, cycling, swimming, friends or family, diving and of course traveling :-) I would describe myself as uncomplicated and honest and you should be too.
