Ready for the adventure of your lifetime? This is a 2-week backpacking trip. It starts from Nairobi through Mombasa to Dar es salaam and it ends in Zanzibar. The dates are still flexible. A day before traveling, we meet in Nairobi, get to know each other, and go through the whole trip plans. On the next day we meet at the CBD then all proceed to the train station bound for Mombasa. The whole journey to Mombasa takes around 6 hours. From Mombasa, we would then take the Likoni ferry to Ukunda which would take around 30 min, then take a taxi to the Hostel we would be staying in. We would then try out some coastal dishes, then spend the night here. We will spend 4 nights in this hostel. Try to visit all the planned sightseeing places. We would then proceed from Mombasa to Dar es salaam with the Coach bus, we definitely have to wake up early as the buses depart at 6 AM. The journey is about 9 hrs...so you should be very ready for this. We would go through border control crossing to Tanzania so make sure you have your visa, yellow fever card, and the Covid vaccine certificate. Arriving in Dar, we would then take a taxi to the Hostel. We would then maybe go for meals, then a night out...but for those tired can go to sleep. The plan is to stay in Dar es Salaam for 3 nights. During the day we would visit the planned sightseeing destinations. We would then take a ferry or flight to Paradise. Zanzibar is definitely the highlight of the whole trip. The plan is to spend 6 nights here...but I am sure we would end up adding a few more nights, Zanzibar can make you do that. We would try a lot of new activities here. We will visit a lot of islands that are rarely visited. We could split the bills for meals and the rest as entrance fees, activities, visas and souvenirs are personal expenses.

About me! My name is Marianne, I am currently a university student working towards my International Relations degree. One day I hope to start an NGO. I am an adrenaline junkie, always up for trying new and exciting things, whether going on a hike or rock climbing.
