Get ready for an unforgettable adventure through Georgia’s stunning Svaneti region! We’ll start our journey in Tbilisi, the vibrant capital, before heading to Zugdidi to catch a mini bus. From there, we’ll go to the heart of the Caucasus Mountains—Mestia, the gateway to one of Europe’s most breathtaking hikes. This 4-day trek will take us through remote mountain villages, wild rivers, and panoramic alpine views. We’ll hike from Mestia to Ushguli, stopping overnight in charming guesthouses in Zhabeshi, Adishi, and Iprari—each offering a taste of Svaneti hospitality. Our final stop is Ushguli, one of the highest continuously inhabited settlements in Europe, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and ancient towers. After celebrating our trek’s completion, we’ll take a taxi back to Mestia, then return to Tbilisi together. Trek Difficulty: Moderate Expect 5–7 hours of hiking per day with some elevation gain. Basic fitness is required, but no technical skills are needed. Perfect for: Adventurous travelers who love nature, hiking, and authentic cultural experiences.

Day 1-2
We will meet at the accommodation in the capital, settle in, and get to know each other. We will go on a walk in the Freedom Square, pass by the Clock Tower, and the Bridge of Peace, passing by many architectures and arts on our way, arriving to the famous Holy Trinity cathedral.

Zugdidi

Day 2
Zugdidi is the main transfer point to reach Mestia, where minibuses depart from outside the train station once full. It’s a quick but lively stop, offering a glimpse of local life before heading into the mountains.

Mestia

Day 2-6
We’ll arrive in Mestia, the heart of Georgia’s Svaneti region, surrounded by majestic peaks and medieval towers. We’ll settle into our guesthouse, enjoy a warm meal, and rest up. Next morning, we’ll hike through stunning alpine landscapes, spending nights in the traditional villages of Zhabeshi, Adishi, and Iprari. Along the way, enjoy authentic Svan culture, ancient towers, and breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountains. Our trek ends in Ushguli

Day 6-7
Arriving in Ushguli feels like stepping into a fairy tale—ancient stone towers, dramatic mountain peaks, and timeless village life all around. We’ll soak in the breathtaking views and rich history before catching a taxi back to Mestia to celebrate the end of our epic trek, and stay for a night.

Kutaisi

Day 7
On our way back to Tbilisi, we’ll stop in Kutaisi for a short visit. As one of Georgia’s oldest cities, Kutaisi offers a charming blend of history, local markets, and relaxed city vibes. We’ll have time to explore a bit, enjoy a local meal, and experience a different side of Georgia before heading back to the capital.

Day 7-8
We’ll end our adventure with a relaxing night in Tbilisi, Georgia’s vibrant capital. After days of trekking, it’s the perfect time to treat ourselves to a soak in the city’s famous sulfur baths—a centuries-old tradition that will leave you refreshed and recharged. In the evening, you can explore the old town, grab a delicious meal, or simply relax and reflect on the amazing journey we’ve just completed.
