Explore the hidden wonders of the north of Portugal with a local

Hey!👋 Do you want to experience things that regular people usually miss and learn about the hidden jewels 💎of the north of Portugal? I have the perfect adventure for you! I'm excited to share with you a taste of Trás-os-Montes (a region in the north of Portugal) in 4 days. Yes! 4 days where we'll go back in time to historical buildings 🏰, experience cultural dishes 🥘, have a chance of tasting our Portuguese lovely wines 🍷, adventure on an aquatic hike 🌄 through a beautiful hidden river (one of my favorite rivers close to my hometown), sleep on a traditional castreja T3 house and finally to get back home well rested a visit to a spa on Pedras Salgadas nature park. 🚗 Since the area we're going to travel to is composed of villages/nature and we have little time, to be more efficient our transportation will be done by a rental car. I can drive although other drivers are always warmly welcomed. 🏡 Our accommodation will be a modern castreja T3 house on Alvão natural park village, meaning that we'll have 4 double beds, of which 2 are in separate rooms (couples 🫂 friendly) and the other 2 are in the same room. The house is equipped with all the comforts we might need, we do have a complete kitchenette in addition to a wonderful patio to relax and use in case we want to have meals at home. 🪧 Since this is a place that I know very well, for me it's easy to adapt and include any suggestion you might have, my only concern is giving a smooth journey during this little duration trip, balancing relaxation and active times. 🤝 The activities are a mix of cultural and natural experiences that stimulate the use of all your senses. I'll go into more detail about each one in the day's description. I do have some others under my sleeve depending on the preferences of the tripmates I'll be sharing this trip with. 🫰 For expenses like groceries, gas, or other activities we'll be using an app to help us sync with our modern-day responsibilities, like sliptwise. What is included in the price? - Accommodation - Visit to Mateus's House or Mateus's Palace - Wine tasting - Aquatic Hike - Spa Circuit - Car rental Since is my first trip with Join My Trip and It's in a place I already know I'm going to include a fee of only 20€ to pay for the time it took me to plan, buy and guide you through this journey. This value is for the day and it will be divided by all tripmates (so, 5€ a day for each one if we have 4 tripmates as expected). Also, I'll include a buffer of 10% to be safe in case prices rise in the transportation and accommodation sector. If after the trip we didn't need to use this buffer I'll give the money back to you. 🤑 The price you see doesn't include restaurants, groceries, flight tickets, or other activities that we might do. 🥺 In the unfortunate case of not finding 4 tripmates, we'll have to share a higher price on accommodation and transportation. I'm a very open-minded and active person that will show and tell you with great pleasure, the best of this part of the north, a place filled with history and natural richness ready to make you feel alive and connected with this place.
