Guided trip
Hey!!! 🖐🏻 I am Alex and i’m studying photography. I grew up in a small mountainous village of Greece called Konitsa. I moved to Athens 4 years ago and now i’m living here, exploring small hidden corners, searching for Greek traditional fiestas in the city, trying to make a big city feel like home. About our trip: Barcelona is a special place for me because it’s the first city abroad that i have lived for over 6 months. Now it’s the time to visit Barcelona again and feel the vibey atmosphere of that beautiful place. One thing i love about Barcelona is that despite it is a city it doesn’t feel this way. Barcelona is ideal to explore by foot, bike or skateboard (as skateboarding is everywhere there). The weather is sunny almost everyday, ideal to explore – relax at the numerous parks all over the city. My favourite one is Ciutadela park. A thing that i also love about this place is live music that can be found everywhere. In parks, at many corners and of course at bars. Raval is an underestimated neighbourhood full of musical events! The dates that we are visiting BCN are chosen so as to avoid the touristic wave of other seasons. As far as our trip is concerned we will be staying in a central hostel. We will be living in the center to be able to walk around to experience the city to the fullest. We will be starting our day with a breakfast and coffee of course . This could happen inside the hostel or/and at some beautiful coffee places in BCN, we decide! Then i have made a small plan of suggestions that i know they are worth visiting (see below). Those plans can also change depending on our mood at that point. During the night i know lot of small & beautiful places for beers, vermouths, tapas and live music at the most vivid neighbourhoods, Gracia, Raval, El Born. Flamenco show is also on the program. I would like to highlight that there is no problem if someone wants to spend some time alone so as to do things. Personal time is unpreciable and highly respected! Things to know about BCN -Very cheap coffee and beers -Vermouth is amazing! -Catalan bars are a must. -Chinese & japanese food can be found at every corner -You will be shocked by how many skateboarders will pass you by. -Transport from airport can happen not only with the expensive touristic bus. What is included? - 4 nights accommodation in a shared room. - Picasso museum ticket - Sagrada Familia ticket - Small organizational fee What’s NOT included? - Flight tickets - Personal expenses - Transportation costs Reasonableness to say that if you would like to discuss about the trip, to add or change something, I will be glad to do it!

Barcelona

Day 1-2
We will meet at the place we will be living for the next 4 days (5 nights). Depending on the time of your arrivals, we will settle down and then arrange the program of the day. We will of course have a welcome lunch/ dinner and some vermouth together and get to know each other in person!

Barcelona

Day 2-3
On the 2nd day we will be walking around Gothic Quarter. With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians, lasting late into the night. Some of the highlights that we will visit are: - Placa Sant Felip Neri - Cathedral - The kiss of freedom (The mural was created by Catalan artist Joan Fontcuberta as a large puzzle of tiny images are arranged by color in order to achieve the image of two sensual pairs of lips kissing) - Picasso museum

Barcelona

Day 3-4
We will start our day by walking around the most vivid and multicultural neighborhood, Raval. We will also stop at MACBA and admire the skateboarding scene of BCN. Our walk will continue to the Born Neighbourhood. An off-beat and fashionable neighborhood that features historic attractions, art galleries, funky shops, bars and tapas. Then our tour will lead us to Ciutat Vella, Arc de Triump and at last we could have a picnic at Ciutadela Park (or we can start our day by having our breakfast there. We choose! At the end of the day, we will see Barcelona from above. The spot we will visit is called Bunkers of Carmel viewpoint.

Barcelona

Day 4-5
On the 4th day, we will be visiting the most famous architectural sight of Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia. Then we will be visiting one of the most picturesque neighborhoods, Gracia. Students, artists and political types make their home here, and everyone's welcome to hang out at Placa del Sol, a popular square day or night with its cafés, bars and 19-century architecture. We will end our walking tour by passing through Passeig de Gracia (one very well-known road) until Placa Catalunya so as to see Casa batlo and Casa mila both designed by Gaudi.

Barcelona

Day 5
Our last day, I want it to be free to decide together! Of course, I can suggest places or activities to do, but I want to make this decision together! There are plenty of extra things that we can do, depending on your departure time. Some examples are: - Parc de Montjuic - The Magic Fountain - Miro museum - MNAC (Palau Nacional) - Barceloneta
