Detailed Itinerary 📅 January 12: Arrival in Gran Canaria and check-in at our accommodation in Las Palmas. In the afternoon, we’ll start exploring the city and the Las Canteras area, followed by our first group dinner. 📅 January 13: Relax at Las Canteras beach or explore the historic district of Vegueta, home to the Christopher Columbus Museum, and learn more about the history of the archipelago. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy the local atmosphere and gastronomy. 📅 January 14: We’ll begin exploring the island by heading south, starting with the “Little Venice” of Gran Canaria—Mogán. Then we’ll visit the paradise beach of Anfi del Mar and one of the most iconic places on the island: the Maspalomas Dunes. 📅 January 15: Excursion to the summit (“la cumbre”) of Gran Canaria, where we’ll visit the charming villages of Teror and Tejeda, finishing with a scenic hike to the natural monument and island symbol: Roque Nublo. 📅 January 16: Time to explore the north of the island, starting with Gran Canaria’s first capital, Gáldar, and its Cueva Pintada Museum—home to the island’s only preserved aboriginal cave paintings. We’ll then continue with a guided tour and tasting at the only coffee plantation in Europe, located in the village of Agaete.
