Hello everyone, here's Roberta, Italian wanderluster of 33, living in Canary Islands! After been travelling as much as I could during my holidays and days off, and lived in 3 different countries (Italy, France and UK), I settled in Gran Canaria where I founded my own platform who helps people with their first solo travel: "My Friend in". I've been a free spirit since I was a teenager and I've always been looking for a way to escape from the 9-5 (there's nothing bad in it, but I wanted to be free to travel whenever I wanted, connect with new people and cultures, and work from wherever I wanted). Roberta is very well organised, very open and flexibel to change plans if needed and such a kind person! Especially in Gran Canaria she is very well connected and knows the island like the back of her hand. This was my first JMT trip with only the trip leader and me as someone cancelled shortly before. So I first had some concerns but quickly noticed that there was no reason for that :) I had an amazing time and absolutely recommend travelling with Roberta!

Hello, It was my first time booking a trip through the portal and I will do it again. Roberta sent me a schedule for the days before the trip so I knew what was on the agenda each day. We were flexible in the group and changed our plans depending on the situation. Roberta is welcoming and it was really fun. I stayed one day longer than the group.
