Guided trip
Hello everyone 😊 If you are looking for an experience that mixes fun, relax, nature, good food & wine look no further! Do you like wine, hilly vineyards, historic colourful villages, lakes and good food? If so, I would love for you to join me in this one week itinerary. Just about 50 km south of Turin, the Langhe region is an extraordinary wine district rich in noble vineyards, gorgeous sceneries, ancient castles, and outstanding cuisine, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014.🍇🍷 October is a great time to visit as the vineyards are turning yellow, orange and red. We will visit some of the most renowned villages, have guided wine tastings and visit beautiful estates to learn about wine (no need to have previous knowledge), eat local food and relax in our accommodation. Our journey will start however in Lake Como where we will stay for the first 3 nights, allowing us to explore Bellagio, Varenna, Villa Monastero, Villa Olmo, Comacina and much more. ✋ About myself: My name is Serena, I am 26 years old and I grew up in Turin and its stunning surrounding area, which I am really looking forward to showing you! I currently live in London, where I work in sustainability. I speak English, Italian, Spanish and a bit of French and Russian. I like food, wine (obviously), doing yoga, travelling, photography and cooking. I am an experienced traveller and this is my second trip organised through JoinMyTrip - very much looking forward to it. What is included in the price: 💰 - Accommodation on Lake Como (3 nights) - Accommodation in Airbnb in Langhe (3 nights) - Car for entire duration of the trip - 2 winery estate visits (including wine tastings) - 1 surprise experience - 1 or 2 entry tickets to Lake Como villas depending which ones we decide to visit - a small fee for me for organizing and coordinating everything :) Costs shared on the trip: gas, grocery shopping, highway tolls, meals out (and any personal expense). 🛏️ About the accommodation: - For our first stop we will be staying 3 nights in a stunning Airbnb in Torno (a few minutes drive from Bellagio) overlooking the lake. The house comes with 4 bedrooms, so everyone will be very comfortable! (photos in the gallery) - For the second part of the trip I booked a charming and cozy Airbnb only a short drive away from La Morra, Barolo and Monforte d’Alba. The house has a double bedroom, another double bedroom plus an extra single bed, and one pull out couch in the living room (photos in the gallery). Expectations about the trip: I am looking to have a fun time, doing lots of visits/sightseeing but also taking the time to enjoy the places we will see, having some long relaxed meals either at home or outside. For detailed information about the itinerary, you can check the stops section down below 📌🗺️ I am looking for 5 open-minded TripMates to join me, with only criteria open in communication. I am very excited about this trip, don't hesitate to reach out if you feel the same way or if you have any questions pop me a message. 📩 Hope to see you soon 💕🤟🏻

Trip Itinerary
1

Lake Como

Day 1-4
After meeting at Milano Airport (Malpensa) on Saturday morning we will be off on the road again and drive approx. 1 hour to reach the village of Torno, on Lake Como, where our first Airbnb is located overlooking the lake (photos in the gallery below). We will sleep there for 3 nights and to explore the surroundings (mainly on foot, by car and by ferry/boat).
2

Lake Como

Day 4
We will visit the magnificent villas of Lake Como such as Villa Balbiano e Balbianello, Villa Carlotta, discover the colorful villages of Bellagio and Varenna and take a boat ride to Comacina island, have aperitivos at sunset on the lake, and go for hikes to spot the best view of the lake.
3

Langhe

Day 4-7
We will then be on the road again and drive to our next Airbnb in the Langhe wine region (in the photos) where we will spend the last four nights. During this time, we will explore the historic villages of La Morra, Barolo, Serralunga d'Alba and its castle and much more. We will discover local wines through famous wine estate visits and guided wine tastings, enjoy traditional food and going for hikes among the vineyards. In October this area is very busy as the International Truffle Fair occurs, so hope you like truffle :) There is an opportunity to organise half day on e-bikes to explore the area, avoiding the car.
4

Turin

Day 7
In our spare time, we can relax at home, cook some meals (I make a pretty mean Tiramisù) when not feeling like going out, play board games, and chat. We will then depart from Turin airport, if time allows we can explore Turin city center as well. This city is full of museums, historic architecture, shops, and restaurants.
