All roads, as ever, will lead to Rome. Where, when and how? One sedan or one sedan + one 4-seat convertible (depending on number of tripmates) What's included? - Transportation: All car, fuel, tolls, parking expenses, etc. - Accommodation: Shared double rooms in an independent property or hotel, separate rooms possible but not included - Food: Breakfast with hotel stays, Lunch with every other accommodation, World Champion Gelato treat - Activities: Kayak experience in Interlaken, Duomo and Uffizi Gallery entry tickets in Florence, Colosseum tour in Rome We will start from Munich early on the morning of May 5th and enjoy the part-Autobahn, part-Alpine drive to the Interlaken region, where we will spend 3 nights. Fellow travelers can feel free to join us in Munich, Memmingen, Zurich or any other place on the route that might be mutually feasible on the 5th. In the next couple of days we will drive, hike and trek to explore the mesmerizing beauty of the region including neighbouring Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. We will leave Interlaken on the morning of the 8th of May to drive through the world-famous Furka Pass and proceed to cross into Italy and have lunch by Lake Como before continuing to Milan, our overnight stop. We'll explore the city together for a couple of hours after which we can split for shopping etc. The next day, we will leave by mid-day to arrive at Lake Garda in time for lunch, where we will enjoy the lake for a while before continuing to Venice and arriving around 4 pm. We will stay in Venice for the night of the 9th of May. The next day we will spend exploring the city and leave around sunset for Tuscany. We will arrive in rural Tuscany late on the night of the 10th of May and stay in a charming rural chalet for 3 nights. We will explore the Tuscan countryside including Val d’Orcia, San Gimignano and the Chianti wine regions. The day of the 12th we will spend in Florence and return later at night. The next morning, we'll take the scenic route for Rome, passing quaint towns and picturesque villages to arrive late in the evening. Rome will be our last stop and after two nights in the Eternal City, we will part ways on Monday, the 15th of May with memories and pictures to last a lifetime.
