Details about this trip
Tripmates: 🇨🇭 Irina 🇩🇪 Florian Discover the wonders of China on this 13-day journey through its most iconic cities. Starting in the historic capital of Beijing, you'll explore ancient palaces, the awe-inspiring Great Wall, and traditional neighborhoods. From there, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Hangzhou with its serene West Lake and famous tea plantations. Next, step into the vibrant and modern metropolis of Shanghai, where the skyline meets traditional gardens and bustling streets. Then, head to the mountainous city of Chongqing, known for its spicy hotpot and stunning river views. Finally, conclude your adventure in the dazzling city of Hong Kong, where East meets West in a captivating blend of modernity and tradition. This trip offers a perfect combination of history, culture, nature, and modern city life.

I am a passionate traveler with a deep interest in experiencing the authentic culture and history of the destinations I visit. For this trip, I am looking to explore China’s rich heritage, from its ancient wonders to its modern marvels. I value immersive experiences—whether that’s trying local cuisine, exploring hidden gems, or learning about the traditions that make each city unique. My expectations for this trip are to gain a deeper understanding of China’s diverse landscapes, vibrant cities, and historical landmarks, all while enjoying seamless travel between these iconic destinations.

Throughout the trip, we will stay in shared rooms in centrally located hotels for most destinations, ensuring comfort and convenience. In cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Chongqing, you will share rooms with fellow travelers, promoting a social atmosphere while exploring the local attractions. For the final leg of the trip in Hong Kong, we will stay in a shared apartment, giving a more home-like feel in this bustling metropolis. The apartment will have shared bedrooms and common spaces, allowing for a more relaxed and communal experience to end the journey.
