‘Northern Lights Wellness Retreat: A Magical Journey of Connection in Lapland, Finland’, Oct 20245/5
Christina was really nice and friendly during the whole trip, she was always available and provided all the necessary information during the trip. She was really flexible on changes and managed them well. The trip had a great value-price ratio, it was really comfortable (private transfer within Lapland), private sauna in the apartment, etc. The accommodations were also well chosen, both in terms of location, quality and cleanness. The retreat activities had a wide selection which was great as the group could get to know different retreat techniques.

Traveling alone is not new to me, and neither is traveling using Join my Trip. Perhaps that's why my feedback is different from that of the other members of the trip to Bali. In general, everything worked well and Christina is a very nice person. However, there was some inattention to details that could have made a difference (for the better). In the group, most of the participants were young and on their first solo trips, so on many occasions someone acted spoiled or too self-centered (understandable). And Christina, for the most part, failed to be the trip leader and acted with a similar level of disorientation. For me, these moments were noisier and somewhat more stressful than I would like to experience on a trip to a paradise like Bali. In addition, I think there was also a lack of awareness of the place and culture we were in. I think one of the details that should have been taken into account is making the trip more sustainable... Bali is an island with a very simple population that depends on tourism (directly or indirectly). Yes, Tourism brings financial benefits, but it also brings negative impacts such as a lot of garbage (scattered everywhere), and nature and animals suffering from environmental impacts. As a leader, I think Christina could have been better informed, and could have guided the group on ways to be more sustainable/less impactful (reduce plastic consumption, collect the waste produced, be less noisy in certain places and at certain times, etc). I hope she takes this feedback constructively and can make her next trips even better.
