✈ Trip Overview ✈ Cyprus looks and feels like a Mediterranean island of Greece, mainly because of its culture, landscape, and the Greek descent of the people in the South. It offers a mix of rich history, diverse cultural influences, scenic road trips, and breathtaking nature. On this trip, we will explore both the Greek and Turkish sides of Nicosia, and visit UNESCO heritage sites, mountain villages, waterfalls, and wineries, all while immersing ourselves in the local music, food, and traditions. April is a fantastic time to visit, with spring in full bloom, mild mostly sunny weather, and fewer tourists. Our trip will be a well-rounded cultural and nature experience, spending 1-2 hours per day on the road while enjoying carefully selected historical, scenic, and gastronomic highlights. We will start in Nicosia, experiencing the unique contrast of the divided capital before heading into the mountains to discover charming villages, waterfalls, and Cyprus’ wine culture. Finally, we will explore Paphos’ UNESCO sites and picturesque harbor before wrapping up with a visit to the traditional lace-making village of Lefkara. 🌞 A Regular Day 🌞 Each day will be packed with pre-planned activities and visits to must-see places, so we’ll start early, leaving the accommodation by 8-9 a.m. to make the most of our time. There will be some free time on certain days for you to relax or explore on your own. Expect a blend of historical sightseeing, cultural experiences, nature walks, and local food & wine tastings. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as we’ll be exploring villages, historical sites, and nature trails.
