In the evenings, enjoy some fresh seafood and Poncha, a traditional Madeiran drink that will get the party started.
2. Canary Islands, Spain

6. Dublin, Ireland
“I love taking my group to Dublin. There is endless things to do in the city like culinary tour, Guinness Storehouse, or simply vibing to music in Temple Bar,” said TripLeader Oxana, an adventure designer with 10 years of experience.
Dublin is one of the best places to travel with friends, especially for young and ready-to-party groups. Start your day exploring the city’s historic sites like Trinity College and the Guinness Storehouse, where you can learn how Ireland’s most famous beer is made (and enjoy a pint with a view). In the evening, head to Temple Bar, the city’s most famous nightlife area, where live music, traditional Irish dancing, and endless rounds of Guinness create an unforgettable atmosphere. The Irish are known for their hospitality, so expect plenty of laughs and great conversations with the locals.
7. Lofoten Islands, Norway

The capital city of Japan won’t make you doze off in boredom. Instead, you will have a hard time choosing what you want to do first. That is what I felt when I visited Tokyo back in 2023. I wanted to do everything, from going on a shopping spree in Ginza to visiting the legendary Meiji Jingu Temple. Yet, the unique animal cafes in Harajuku or the go-karting experience in Shibuya are too interesting to miss!
Well, I recommend spending at least six days in Tokyo so you and your buddies can have a blast. Tokyo has everything, from beautiful Japanese temples, world-class theme parks to delicious Michelin-starred restaurants. You can explore a lot of activities, such as experiencing Shinjuku’s crazy nightlife, making a wish in the Asakusa Temple, and booking a ticket to the world’s only DisneySea.
10. Koh Phangan, Thailand
“Koh Phangan is the ultimate beach party destination in Southeast Asia. Digital nomads and influencers travel to this island regularly. So, if you love parties and the crowds, you will have a blast here!” said TripLeader Timo, who has spent the past years backpacking around Southeast Asia.
Like other Thai islands, Koh Phangan has an exquisite white-sand coastline and crystal-clear waters. It is the main venue for Thailand’s famous Full Moon Party, which is centered around Sunset Beach. Aside from parties, you can discover secluded beaches, hidden waterfalls, and breathtaking coral reefs. The island can be explored with a motorcycle. So, make sure to have the time of your life with your travel buddies!
11. Bali, Indonesia
Bali has never stepped down from the list of best places to travel with friends. As a young traveler, I do not doubt Bali. The island has what you want in a tropical paradise: picture-perfect beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a beautiful underwater landscape. Besides that, the Island of the Gods attracts travelers with its natural landscapes comprising ricefields and volcanoes, and a distinctive culture.
When traveling to Bali with friends, I never miss the Canggu or Seminyak area. It is where the aesthetic cafes, fabulous beach clubs, and great nightclubs are located (and as a Gen Z, I would NEVER miss a cute cafe). Besides that, you can learn surfing and do yoga in the area. If you and your friends hate touristy things, I recommend heading to Kintamani, a mountainous area with hot springs, or Lovina, a quaint region known for its dolphins.
12. Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Lavish and energetic, Dubai presents another version of the ‘American Dream’. The city looks exclusive with its towering skyscrapers, including the world’s tallest. Glamorous malls and thousands of euros hotels make Dubai an ultimate luxury destination. It is also one of JoinMyTrip’s community favorite places to travel. Our TripMates love the choice of activities in Dubai, from seeing the Burj Khalifa to desert safaris. 13. Hanoi, Vietnam
Traveling to Hanoi means stepping into a different world every time you reach a new area. Some parts of Hanoi are chaotic and modern, with futuristic buildings and waves of motorcycles. Other parts take you back to 17th-century Hanoi, dreamy and nostalgic. Nonetheless, Hanoi is an exciting place to visit. The city has various activities, such as sitting near a train track in the Train Street, exploring the Old Quarter, and having strolls around Hoan Kiem Lake.
Our team once did a coworking session in Hanoi and loved every moment of it. Hanoi is considerably cheap, especially for food and accommodation. We rented a three-bedroom apartment for €30 per night. The food, like bun cha and pho, is wonderful, and small vendors sell it for less than €1 per portion.
14. Morocco

“South Africa is a must-visit if you are traveling with friends. The Garden Route is a backpacker’s paradise and a great road trip place,” said TripLeader Olaf, a trip designer from Germany who has lived for 7 years in South Africa.
The country’s stunning landscapes and surprisingly vibrant cities make it a fantastic bucket list destination for your group. The Garden Route, like Olaf recommended, is lined with gorgeous beaches and dreamy coastal towns. Other than that, you can go for a safari trip in Kruger National Park. Then, take a cable car to the top of Table Mountain for a scenic view.

LA is perfect for groups looking for a mix of city life, beaches, and celebrity hotspots. Walk down the Hollywood Walk of Fame, hike up to the Hollywood Sign, and explore the iconic Santa Monica Pier. Spend a day in Venice Beach, where you can skateboard, shop, or watch street performers. At night, check out the lively bars in West Hollywood or catch a rooftop party in Downtown LA.
