Details about this trip
During this weekend trip, we will explore most important sightseeing objects in Venice, which is considered being one of the most beautiful cities in the whole world. You can be assured that you will get all the experience that the city can offer. We will visit not only the most picturesque corners of Venice, viewpoints, towers and bridges with magnificent views, but also going to have unique experiences like cruising canals of Venice with a gondola and nighttime tour of St. Mark’s Basilica. We will also visit other three islands around Venice with a local water taxi boat.

About me: I am working as a travel planner/guide and yoga teacher. I am naturally a researcher and explorer, so you can be assured that I have read all the possible information about the destination and conducted the best travel itinerary that will guarantee an amazing experience.

Accommodation: You are going to live in a beautiful and authentic Venetian villa. It is not a hostel or a low budget option, but rather a unique, charming, comfortable place since I believe that decent staying place plays an important role for the whole travel experience. You will also have a separate bed just for you. Rooms are shared, but each Trip Mate will have their separate bed. I am looking forward to exploring Venice with you! Day 1-2
We will meet on Friday afternoon. The plan is to get to the city, check in to our apartment, get to know each other. The first evening of the trip is dedicated to wandering around the streets of Venice, having our first dinner together and preparing for more intense following days.

Venice

Day 2-3
On Saturday we are going to visit the most important objects in the city. We are going to start quite early in the morning since the plan is quite intense with visiting some viewpoints, bridges, towers, museums. Two most important experiences await for us: gondola cruise during the day and nighttime visit of St. Mark’s Basilica. Do not worry, I will guide you everywhere and tell you a short history, facts of the places we are going to visit.

Municipality 1 Venezia-Murano-Burano

Day 3-4
On Sunday we are going to visit three islands around Venice which are Murano, Burano and Lido. We are going to use vaporetto - a local water taxi, which in my opinion is quite a unique experience itself (day pass ticket for vaporetto is included in the travel itinerary). Murano is famous for its glassmaking traditions, we are going to visit a glass factory there. Burano is famous for its colorful houses and Instagrammable pictures, and Lido is the place where Venice International Film Festival is held every year.

Venice

Day 4
On Sunday, we will head back to our villa in Venice, where we will stay the last night. Having the last dinner all together, sharing most liked travel moments, planning next trips together. :) Checking out and leaving Venice on Monday.
