This isn’t your standard Yucatán vacation – it’s for those who want to experience Mexico beyond the postcards, without having to do it all alone. We’ll spend our days in Playa del Carmen, a vibrant beach town on Mexico’s Caribbean coast, known for turquoise waters, lively nightlife, and easy access to Mayan ruins and cenotes. Yucatán Peninsula is where turquoise waters meet Mayan history: think Chichén Itzá, cenotes so blue they look unreal, Cozumel’s reefs and eco-parks like Xcaret with a mix of culture and fun. By day we explore, by evening we can slow down - tacos, cocktails or just hanging out together. 🌮🍹💃🏻 Several activities are included: Snorkeling, boat rides, nightlife in Playa, markets in Mérida (optional overnight trip), or simply a beach day when you need nothing but sand and sun. It’s a mix of adventure and ease – you’ll never feel like you missed out, but also never feel rushed. And just like in Part 1, we keep it small: max. 8/ 9 people. That way, there’s space to connect without pressure, laugh at the little moments and build memories that don’t fade as soon as the trip ends. ✨ ‣ This trip is for you if you want to combine beaches, culture and fun with a like-minded group (age 30 ~ 45). No package-tour bus vibes. No “retreat program.” Just real experiences, salty skin, fresh ceviche, and memories made together. 🐠🌞🌠 #NotAnotherRetreat #TravelDeeper #YucatanVibes
Hey! I'm Ellis - passionate traveler, team player, and lover of spontaneous adventures, good conversations, and beach sunsets. 🏝 I usually travel together with my boyfriend (and your Co-TripLeader) Mario, but honestly? The best memories were always the ones shared - laughing over street food, figuring out bus routes together or just sitting in silence watching the ocean. 🌊 I'm someone who genuinely loves bringing people together, curious, chill, a bit chaotic sometimes - but always down for a deep talk, insider jokes or a good coffee 😍☕️😅 (and a little party once in a while 🪩🕺🏼) This trip is about traveling, connecting and creating something real together. A small crew, good vibes, local food and those little moments that stay with you long after we're back home. I don't expect anyone to be super outgoing or follow the group all the time. We can go party or just play board games - some activities are included but with enough room for me time or spontaneous trips. COME AS STRANGERS- LEAVE AS FRIENDS ✨️
We’ll stay in a modern apartment (2 apartments for a group of 8 in the same building) in Playa del Carmen with a balcony and spacious terrace – the perfect spot for lazy breakfasts, warm evenings and a breeze from the Caribbean. 😉 The building also offers a pool and shared spaces, so there’s room to chill or gather as a group after a day full of adventures. And since breakfast is included, our mornings start easy before we head out to cenotes, ruins or the beach. 🏖Depending on availability, there will be double and twin rooms available (2 people per room). I'll try to pair same-gender roommates whenever possible 🏡

We’ll meet at our apartment in Playa del Carmen or arrive together by transfer from the airport for those joining after Part 1. The first day(s) are all about settling in: relaxing at the pool or terrace, exploring Playa’s lively streets, enjoying local food and taking the first walk to the beach. It’s the perfect chance to get to know each other and ease into the Caribbean vibe before our adventures start.

Yucatán
Day 10
In Yucatán we’ll mix culture, adventure and fun. While Playa del Carmen will be our base, we'll explore together the whole Peninsula (or at least parts of 😅). We wander through the ancient Mayan city of Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World with a private guided tour, and cool off in nearby cenotes – natural sinkholes with crystal-clear water that feel like hidden caves. We’ll take the ferry to Cozumel and head out on a private boat to El Cielo, a sandbank in the middle of the sea famous for its shallow turquoise water and starfish on the ocean floor. Back on the mainland, we’ll spend a full day at Xcaret Park, where underground rivers, wildlife, Mexican food and an incredible evening show all come together. And since nights in Playa del Carmen are just as vibrant as the days, we’ll also experience "Coco Bongo", a legendary show club with acrobats, dancers, live music and a party atmosphere you won’t forget. Between the highlights, there’s still space to enjoy Playa’s beaches, street food and local markets – the perfect balance of planned adventures and free time. 🌴✨

Mérida
Day 10
OPTIONAL ADD-ON: Overnight Stay in Mérida 🌆 Mérida, the capital of Yucatán, is a colorful colonial city known as the “White City.” Spending a night here means diving deeper into authentic Mexican culture: strolling through pastel-colored streets, exploring local markets full of Yucatecan food and enjoying the evening buzz at Plaza Grande. By staying overnight instead of rushing through on a day trip, we’ll have time to wander at our own pace, discover street music, and maybe even catch one of Mérida’s cultural performances or light shows at the cathedral. It’s the perfect contrast to the beach life of Playa del Carmen – less touristy but full of local history and charm. Bus one way: ~35 Euro | ~ 5 hours (The price for hotel/ airbnb depends on the final group size, as we will split costs)
4
Holbox Island
Day 10
OPTIONAL ADD-ON: Overnight Stay in Holbox 🏝 Holbox is the definition of island escape. After taking the ferry from Chiquilá (getting there by shuttle from Playa) you’ll find sandy streets with no cars, colorful murals and hammocks strung up over turquoise water. Staying overnight makes all the difference: you can watch the sunset at Punta Cocos, rent bikes or golf carts to explore the island by day and – if the season allows – see the magical bioluminescence glow in the water at night. The vibe is slow, bohemian and carefree. While Playa del Carmen has energy and nightlife, Holbox is all about slowing down and soaking up nature’s magic, waking up to the sound of waves. Price per person depends on how many people wanting to join. (Approx. 100 - 150 Euro per Person incl. Accomodation and round trip transfer from Playa) Travel time to Chiquilá: 2~3 hours by shuttle | one way Travel time on ferry: ~30 minutes to Holbox | one way
