Day 1-3
Guatemala, the heart of the ancient Mayan civilization, is a country of impressive landscapes and a rich cultural history. From its majestic volcanoes to its picturesque colonial towns, Guatemala offers a perfect fusion of nature and tradition. It is a land of contrasts, and this journey is designed for you to experience all of them. We will begin by exploring Guatemala City, the largest and most modern metropolis in Central America, and Antigua Guatemala, one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Latin America, with its cobbled streets, colorful facades, and historic ruins. Day 1: Arrival in the afternoon. Transfer to the accommodation and explanation of the trip. Welcome dinner and rest. Day 2: Guatemala City. We will dedicate the first day to understanding the country’s cultural and social context, beginning with a walk through the old town, including Constitution Square, Central Park, and the cathedral. This will be followed by a visit to the Central Market to discover handicrafts, textiles, and local products while observing the daily life of the “chapines” (Guatemalans). To complete the experience, we will enjoy a private gastronomic tour led by a local expert, featuring tastings of the most iconic dishes of Guatemalan cuisine.

Lago Atitlan
Day 3-6
Afterward, Lake Atitlan and its colorful lakeside villages await us, where life continues to follow the rhythm of Mayan traditions. Arrival in Panajachel, followed by a boat transfer to our accommodation in San Juan. The journey continues with visits to the colorful indigenous villages around Lake Atitlán, including San Pedro, San Marcos, San Juan, and Santiago, each offering a unique cultural experience. A full gastronomic experience awaits, featuring a hands-on Guatemalan cuisine workshop where we learn to prepare some of the country’s most flavorful dishes and share the meal we have crafted together.

Antigua Guatemala
Day 6-7
Our next stop is Antigua, a colonial gem surrounded by the volcanoes Agua (3,766 meters), Fuego (3,763 meters) and Acatenango (3,976 meters), whose eruptions have shaped the history of the former capital of the country. We will visit Central Park, La Merced Church, and the Santa Catalina Arch. We will enjoy a coffee tour at a farm in Antigua Guatemala, where we will learn the process of making coffee at one of the country’s top producers, known for its high-quality beans. Sunset from a beautiful rooftop in the heart of the city. Optional activities include a quad bike or hiking adventure to Pacaya Volcano (2,552 m), or a visit to Hobbitenango, the Hobbit-themed village in the hills above Antigua.

Costa pacifico
Day 7-9
The last part of the trip will take us to the Pacific Coast, a tropical corner that offers some of the most impressive sunsets in the country, amidst the striking black volcanic sands, accompanied by the gentle sound of the ocean and the ideal warmth of a tropical climate. Time to unwind in a stunning natural setting, with optional activities like surfing, kayaking, or local fishing. A guided tour of the mangrove nature reserve will conclude with sunset views from the water, where there is a chance to observe sea turtles in their natural habitat.

Day 9-10
Last night in the capital, optional activities depending on your departure time. the largest and most modern metropolis in Central America. Check in online and pack your luggage. An optional morning visit to the zoo, recognized as one of the most important in Central America. Transfer to the airport for departure.
