- individual arrival to Funchal - Transfer to the site accommodation in Sao Martinho with beautiful, large outdoor terrace with sea view and small outdoor pool - Welcome dinner and briefing of the hiking week NOTE: THE NIGHTS DURING THE HIKING WEEK ARE DOUBLE OCCUPANCY! Sao Lourenco Madeira

Day 2-3
Day 2: Peninsula of Sao Lourenco & Coastal Walk to Porto da Cruz - Breakfast - Transfer to the starting point of the hike to Baia d' Abra - Morning: Hike across the peninsula of Sao Lourenco with its spectacular rocky coast ( 8km) - Short transfer to Machico - afternoon: hike on the historical coastal path over the Boca da Risco to Porto da Cruz (12km) - Dinner in Porto da Cruz - Transfer back to the accommodation (morning: 7.7km / 400m ascent and descent each / approx. 3h - afternoon: 12km, 180m ascent, 380m descent, approx. 4h)

Day 3-4

Day 5: Funchal and free afternoon - Breakfast - Transfer to Funchal - City Walking Tour - Visit to the "Mercado dos Lavradores" market - Free afternoon - Dinner in Funchal - Transfer back to your accommodation

Ponta Do Sol

Day 6-7
Day 6: Ponta do Sol - Breakfast - transfer to the starting point of the hike with a short stop at the viewpoint Cabo Girao, one of the highest capes in Europe (580m) - beautiful levada hike through the valley of Riberia da Ponta do Sol - free afternoon with possibility to swim - Transfer back to the accommodation - dinner (9km / 110m altitude difference, approx. 3h)


Day 7-8
Day 7: To the 25 Rabacal Springs - Breakfast - Transfer to the starting point of the hike to Rabacal - Beautiful levada tour in the headwaters of the highlands Paul da Serra to the headwaters of Levada Alecrim, to the mountain lake Lagoa do Vento, the famous Risco waterfall and the 25 springs - Transfer back to the accommodation - Dinner (15.6km / 350m ascent / 390m descent/ approx. 6h)

Porto Moniz

Day 8-9
