You really feel like sun, beach & sea? For delicious tacos, one - two - three tequilas & parties? Do you like beach clubs, snorkeling and Mayan pyramids? You are between 25 and 45 years old? (All genders welcome!) Then come with me on JOIN MY TRIP - GROUP TRIP, in a small group of 6 - 8 like-minded people and discover the diversity of Yucatán in sunny Mexico! Important: -> GOOD VIBES ONLY : ) Some useful trip info: -The price includes the hotel in Playa del Carmen for the first 8 days. Single room without meals. If you go to the room as a couple, it will be about 120€ cheaper. Also included in the price is 1 boat trip to Isla Mujeres and the many short trips in the Collektivo / minibus when we do something. -We meet in Playa del Carmen -You book your own flight to Cancun. -From there a comfortable bus leaves every hour to Playa del Carmen. 90 min driving time / costs about 10 €uro -I will book an affordable, small, fancy boutique hotel for you right in the center. The price-performance ratio in Mexico is fantastic, so we can treat ourselves to a cool hotel for really little money! -We will all meet on Sat 30.10 at the hotel. Since everyone arrives at a different time, nothing is planned for that day yet. We will meet in the evening for dinner and take a walk around the town if you feel like it. Our program starts on Sunday -The price includes hotel accommodations, a catamaran ride to Isla Mujeres, the excursion to Chichenitza, the bus ticket to Tulum and the many tickets for the collectivos (small buses) to the cenotes. Per day I would add an average of 40€ for going out to eat and things to do, which of course depends on your spending habits! If you get 4 fancy cocktails in an expensive restaurant, you'll be out 40€ fast! You know yourself better! And on 2 days, your excursion with Mittagesssen is included, so you will then probably not need an additional 40€. -For activities I have a lot of ideas - but in the end we decide as a group on what we feel like! Packing list for Yucatán: -Everything you need for a beach vacation -Outgoing clothes for the evening (whatever that means for you : ) -Sunscreen 30+ & headgear -A light jacket for the bus, because the air conditioning is often quite cold -Comfortable shoes for the bike rides and when we go to the ruins. COVID INFO: -Here in the Yucatán, people are relatively lax about covid (That's why I'm living here this year : ) -Masks mandatory in stores, buses, and when entering restaurants and beach clubs. -Testing stations (fee required) are plentiful in Playa del Carmen & Tulum. -You will NOT be asked for a test/vaccination at the restaurants/beach clubs. However, proof may be requested on tours and at the hotel. -I am vaccinated - as info, so that one or the other feels safer! -I am not your official tour guide, but we travel together, which means that I will NOT wear a mask, except when it is required in public places, buses.... is mandatory! -We will always be surrounded by people on this trip, because we want to do excursions & party. So if you are very "covid-concerned", this trip is rather not for you! But then you probably wouldn't fly to Mexico either. So come with me on a group trip & LETS HAVE FUN!

Playa del Carmen

Day 1-9
30. 10 - 07. 11 The hotel for nights in Playa del Carmen is included in the price. Since everyone arrives at a different time on Saturday 30. 10, nothing is planned for that day yet. We will all meet at the hotel in the evening for a "get together", have dinner together and stroll through the busy pedestrian area. (If you feel like it after your flight) We can discuss that then.... Playa del Carmen is my home for this year and there are so many great things we can do. -My suggestion for the 1st day (Sunday) to start our trip relaxed: We go to "Inti Beach" (see photo) and enjoy the day at the beach with Dj, drinks, delicious food and beach vibes. (20€ entrance fee - we get back in the form of food & drinks). -Rooftop Pools - Some 4-star hotels offer a day pass for about 20€ to use the fancy pool area on the hotel rooftop. The entrance fee counts as a credit because for the 20€ you get to eat & drink! Mega Deal! If you are also a beach club lover like me, let's spend three to four awesome days at the best rooftops. -Have you ever swam in a cenote? Cenotes are a must-see in Yucatán because cenotes only exist in this area! Cenotes are karst caves that are filled with fresh water and can be either open or closed. Here I would take you to one or two beautiful open cenotes. (Closed Cenotes -> Tulum) -If you want, you can get a massage here in Playa del Carmen for $20 USD on the beach for an hour! -Playa del Carmen is great for shopping! -I hope you feel like partying after so much party deprivation in Germany? Because here in Playa del Carmen there is a lot going on! No matter if Reggaeton, Electronic Music or Salsa... I show you the best party locations! There is also a very nice Cuban bar with live music.... If we go out only once or three times you decide : ) -One night we go to Fusion, a reggae bar right on the beach with fire show. If you like to smoke shisha, you have the possibility here! -Playa del Carmen has a wonderful white sandy beach with palm trees! -Tuesday night is Taco Tuesday and we do a little private taco food tour. I know where we veggies can find some too! -Playa del Carmen has a bussy pedestrian mall parallel to the beach - it's just fun to walk along here: People watching, shopping, briefly admiring the street musicians & shows, eating ice cream, .... Pure entertainment! -Everything is so cheap in Mexico, that we don't cook ourselves, but go out for a delicious meal every evening - Querbeet: fancy to streetfood -Playa del Carmen is our "home base" for eight days, from here we can do some day trips, which you can see below. In week 2 we will go to Tulum!

Isla Mujeres

Day 9
Let's do a day trip on the catamaran! Snorkeling, lunch, drinks and a stay on Isla Mujeres. The tour is included in the total price! We will not stay overnight here, but have our hotel in Playa del Carmen.
3

San Miguel de Cozumel

Day 9
More snorkeling`? Then let's take the ferry to Cozumel and join a snorkeling boat tour, because Cozumel is known for an impressive underwater world with starfish & more...

Chichén-Itzá

Day 9
Even though this is not a cultural trip, the Mayan ruins are definitely part of our Mexico trip, because they are just INCREDIBLE! Chichenitza is one of the 7 wonders of the world and was one of the largest Mayan sites, so we take a day and join a guided day trip - to marvel at the Mayan heritage. Procedure of the full day tour: Pick up in Playa del Carmen -Swimming in the Hubiku Cenote -Inclusive buffet lunch at Hubikus Restaurant -Tequila in Don Taedeo -Visit to the ancient Mayan site of "Chichenitza -Closing the tour in the authentic town of Valladolid If you feel like it, the tour costs around 50€. We can decide spontaneously as a group!

Tulum

Day 9-14
November 07-12 Hotel costs for Tulum are not included in the price, as some depart differently. Cost about 25 for a double room and 40€ for a single room. We will go by bus from Playa del Carmen to Tulum. Here we will spend 4.5 days before we leave for the airport on Friday the 12th of November. Activities in Tulum: -Arrival day: Chill out at the hotel pool and explore Tulum. -Day 1: We rent a bike and ride to the ruins on the beach, which are breathtaking. Afterwards we enjoy the day at the beach "Playa Paradiso", which is conveniently located right next to it and lives up to its name. -Day 2: We take a bike ride to the Zona Hotelera, a place I personally have totally fallen in love with. The Zona Hotelera is a mile-long stretch of beach with all these superduper fancy jungle hotels in boho style - one crazier than the other. You simply have to see them! Afterwards I have a still secret highlight for you! -Day 3: We take the bus 45 min to Coba. Here there are extensive Mayan ruins in the jungle - also a totally cool place! Afterwards, we rent bikes and ride to three closed cenotes. -Day 4: We spend the last day where you like it best in Tulum! -If you feel like a massage, I can recommend the Cacao Spa in the center! Tulum is much more expensive than Playa del Carmen and also the city and the beach are a few kilometers apart. That's why we stayed longer in Playa del Carmen than in Tulum! In Tulum we need bicycles, but they only cost 5€ a day. Also here we book four double rooms in a small boutique hotel in the center, so we can enjoy the evenings in the "city". Important: The return trip to the airport will be from Tulum. If your return flight on Nov 12 is very early, you will have to go to Cancún the night before, because the last bus leaves around 7pm and the earliest one only around 9am. Or you can stay alone a few days longer and just relax!
