Coworking trip
Hi beautiful people 🌊 If you're looking for a road less-traveled in Mexico, on the shores of the all year round warm beaches Caribbean, with a guaranteed party for New Years Eve and, if that wasn't enough, relaxing in a hidden gem of the Riviera Maya, where we can explore the region’s archaeological sites of the Mayan Empire, natural reserves and cenotes. Then this trip was made for you! 🐳 I am looking for a diverse, cool group of 8 to 9 people, including me to join! Hopefully we can learn from each other and have a beautiful time together enjoying the best of what mexican beaches can offer. It doesn't matter if you're looking for a relaxing vacation, cultural and natural excursions or to work remotely. I would love it if there's a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where we can build our own diverse travel community. Allowing people to work remotely, relax, scuba dive, kayak, create or do whatever activities you’d like during the day and on the afternoons and weekends be able to explore together some of the amazing natural areas and the fantastic seafood, enjoy the sunsets at the beach, maybe have some cool BBQs with the best of the local food, visit Ancient Mayan Ruins and whatever fun activity we want to add. ABOUT ME My name is Karla, I am 27 years old. I am originally from Mexico City and I've been based in Berlin for the past 3 years, so what better way to escape the German winter than to bring you to my beautiful home of magical Mexico. I am a visual artist currently studying my Masters in Sexology. I love books, scuba diving, exploring nature, and chasing sunsets. I'm definitely a foodie, so do expect to eat the best food in the Yucatan Peninsula. I have traveled around the world and I've managed to generate beautiful connections with people, with wildly different backgrounds and stories, from all walks of life. It is these people and connections that make any trip memorable, that's why I would love to share my expertise with you! ABOUT THE TRIP 🦀 We will be staying in new apartment at directly at the beach with with five bedrooms and & five bathrooms (private and shared options), equipped kitchen, AC, terrace, good WI-Fi connection, exit to the beach and our own pool. All this is directly at the seafront in Chicxulub, an spectacular local beach that has nothing to do with the typical tourist areas. What is the most exciting for this trip is New Years Eve at the beach with our own FIESTA!! So do expect a celebration, a youthful atmosphere but also, nature reserves, untouched beaches, cenotes, mangroves, lagoons, natural reserves, archeological ruins, really all the best Riviera Maya has to offer. WHAT'S INCLUDED The trip costs 💸 include an amazing accommodation with our own beachfront entrance, with pool, laundry machine, 24/7 security, big common area and kitchen, so we can make shared groceries and since we are visiting an area where most of the tourists are mexican we can have amazing local food at an affordable price. It also includes a 27 EUR fee for the planning and organizing of this journey. I will also be there all the way and you can count on me with any questions, translation or help needed. This also includes one car for the FIRST THREE PEOPLE TO PAY, the rest will rent another car we and the price is around 30 EUR the day (in case no one else with a licence will join there's also private transport that we can use) . But since one car is included don´t need to rent a second one for the hole trip, rather we can see what days we would need one depending on who's joining the activities and save in costs. Some extras will be: cleaning service during our trip (around 20 EUR total per day including the cleaning of the pool, I'd say we need 2 during our stay) , gas money that we divide as for the groceries, and the energy consumption we have to pay at the end of our stay (I calculate not more than 5 EUR per person) & entrance fees (wich are not more than 10 USD or free). HOW TO GET THERE? The easiest way to get there is through Mérida Airport, there are direct flight from Mexico City, Guadalajara, Cancún, Monterrey, Oaxaca, Toronto, Dallas, Houston, Miami (and other but this are the main, so you can check all the options) from there we can rent the extra car together and go to our house that's only 45 minutes away. You can also get here from Cancun taking a bus but it is like 6 hours. We are looking for 8 like-minded, fun people 💻 to JOIN OUR TRIP. If you have any questions I will be happy to hear from you! I am very excited to share the best of my beautiful country with you 💗

Trip Itinerary
1

Chicxulub Puerto

Day 1-5
The warm Caribbean breeze, the ever-present, soothing crash of the waves breaking on the sand. The sunrise of soft pinks, Mars-like reds, and intense oranges. Are some of the few things that make this destination magical and perfect for a new beginning year. This will be our base for our stay, I picked this place because of its many possible activities for any kind of mood.
2

The Coloradas

Day 5-6
Located in the heart of the Yucatan Peninsula this unique pink lakes in Quintana Roo are the perfect goodbye detour that promises to take your breathe away with its cotton-candy-colored waters. This saline estuary is surrounded by a community that `provides this magical place with ancestral harmony with the environment and is in fact reflected in the establishment of the most important flamingo colonies in the Mexican Caribbean.
3

San Crisanto Mangrove Cenote Boat Tour

Day 6-7
San Crisanto is known for its beautiful and not so popular beach where we can spend our Saturday afternoon. But first, prepare to be taken to a surreal world, surrounded by unique flora and fauna on a Mangrove boat tour. There are thousands of meters of mangroves in San Crisanto that will leave you inspired and awed.
4

Chichén-Itzá

Day 7-8
It would not be a trip to the Yucatán peninsula if we did not visit Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. What a better way to charge ourselves with energy for this coming year than this magical hub of the Mayan empire.
5

Reserva Estatal Geohidrológica Anillo de Cenotes

Day 8-9
This protected area is a ring rout of more than 7 cenotes where we can tour around in the magnificent jungle. It is just 1 hour and 45 minutes from our base and it is known for being one of the areas with more cenotes in Mexico.
6

Chelem

Day 9
Not Having too much to do in Chelem but relax on a pristine beach that is untouched by tourists makes it worthwhile. This small fishing town is perfect for chilling and having some of the best local food straight from the sea.
7

Izamal

Day 9-10
Known as the Yellow City of Yucatan this small town offers a unique way of exploring the colonial and pre hispanic heritage of Mexico, while still remaining largely unknown for tourists. This sun-colored town gives a warm welcome to Yucatans cuisine, local way of living and shops. The striking Kinich Kak Moo an ancient Pyramid right in the middle of town.
