Day 1-4
Day 1: Arrival Upon arrival at the airport in Bishkek, you will be picked up at the agreed meeting point by the cab I trust. After about five hours of driving you will arrive at your destination. Now it's time to arrive, acclimatize, get acquainted with the lovingly furnished yurt camp, the place and the people. The beach is in the immediate vicinity and is naturally ideal for relaxing after the journey. Day 2: Fairy Tale Not far from Tosor is the miniature Grand Cannyon of Kyrgyzstan. It is small and cozy, but no less spectacular. In the play of light and shadow of the setting sun, a variety of mythical creatures emerge from the relief of the red sandstone, making it perfectly clear why this place is called "Fairy Tale". Day 3: Söök Pass Today we are going to climb very high. We leave the friendly green of meadows and trees and enter the unreal landscape of gray rock. Passing cliffy lakes and the snow that seems to never melt here, we leave some mountain peaks below us and reach the 4024 m high Söök Pass. We then drive to a Dungan-run inn in Karakol, where we stay for the next four nights. Dungans are a Chinese-derived ethnic group in Kyrgyzstan. The hostess spoils us with Dungan cuisine.

Day 4-9
Day 4: Three mountain lakes We start our five-day trip to the Karakol region with a drive to the "three mountain lakes". You may wonder what lakes these are? Well, they are quite remote, so no one had given them a name yet. To get there we drive through my favorite mountain gorge "Zhuuku", cross a river over water and a 3633 m high pass. The lakes all have different colors. The first one is azure blue, the second one is mint green and the third one? I haven't seen the third one yet. But we will try to get that far this time. So I'm as excited about this day as you are. Day 5: Rest day Today we relax on the beach not far from Karakol and let the impressions of the last two days sink in to make room for new ones. If we are lucky, we will catch the kayak rental on this day and can also make this free day a bit more sportive. This is of course optional. Day 6: Altyn Arashan About 10 km from Karakol lies the spa town of Altyn Arashan, which translated from Kyrgyz means "Golden Spring". This place has always been famous for its hot springs. Here, several radon and hydrogen sulfide springs jump out of the ground at once. Just the right place to relax after a long hike. If you need an extra kick for your immune system, you can jump into the cold river after heating up in the over 40 degree hot water. Yes, that's just how it's done here. Day 7: Chon-Kyzyl-Suu Chon-Kyzyl-Suu is one of the best locations for a longer hike. The location is not very well known among tourists and locals, so we have this picturesque mountain gorge with its emerald green coniferous forests and lush green meadows, on which carpets of flowers spread, almost to ourselves. Here we also have the choice to experience the path on foot or on horseback. Day 8: Karakol We spend the last day of our five-day trip to Karakol in the city of Karakol itself. First we visit the local bazaar, because what is a journey through the country through which the Silk Road once ran without a visit to a bazaar? Here we get another insight into today's Kyrgyzstan. For us it is of course also a good opportunity for cheap shopping and souverniers. After the bazaar we can visit two of the local sights - the Dungan mosque, built without a single nail, and an old Orthodox church. Then we return to Tosor and now move into an inn.

Day 9-12
Day 9: Rest day To recover from our long excursion, we allow ourselves time to relax today. Therefore, off to the hot sand and cool water! The grounds of the inn are quite spacious with an all you can eat apricot garden, some shady sitting areas to relax and be together and a pavilion in the middle of the apricot trees where the host family will serve us the lovingly prepared meals. In the evening a campfire may be built on the grounds. Day 10: Chon Dzhargilchak and Dzheti-Oguz Chon Dzhargilchak is one of the places that was recommended to us by the local people. However, the internet research did not reveal much information about this mountain gorge. The more exciting will be the exploration, it seems to be a real insider tip. Alternatively or maybe additionally we can go to a Dzhajlau in the Dzheti-Oguz. Dzhajlau is so to speak the "Kyrgyz mountain pasture". In the summer months the Kyrgyz from the villages move here to let their cattle graze. Dzheti-Oguz is a particularly large and somewhat more luxuriantly inhabited jailau, which also specializes in welcoming guests. The inhabitants entertain their guests with rifle and archery ranges. The young Kyrgyz here let us go for a ride on the back of their horses. And, of course, we eat traditionally in a yurt. Day 11: Rest day Before heading back home tomorrow, your tan will get its last coat of paint. Today you can relax again, because you should come home relaxed. Of course, you can also spend the day doing something else on your own. For this, a walk along the beach - also on horseback - or the exploration of the village and its very unusual for our feeling cemetery. If our budget is still sufficient, perhaps a boat trip into the sunset would be in it. Day 12: Departure A cab will take you back to the airport today. I hope you are happy and go home with the best impressions and your memory and the memory of your phone are filled with great memories. And hopefully it won't be our last trip together. :)
