Day 1
Welcome to Malta! You will arrive at the airport where I will personally meet you and take you to your accommodation in the comfy and friendly hostel 2 min away from the sea and a lovely promenade with bars and restaurants. Get ready to unwind in a laid-back atmosphere and a gentle temperature. Allow the calming sounds of the waves to wash away any travel fatigue and set the intention for a peaceful journey ahead. ******The 1st TripMate joining the trip will stay in a private room, featuring a cozy double bed in a new stunning 3-bedroom apartment just steps away from the sparkling sea, with a private terrace for chilling, sunbathing, meditating, BBQ or whatever is desired. As a special offer, I have secured this beautiful accommodation to ensure your utmost comfort and tranquility.

Day 1-2
Once you accommodate yourself and all our TripMates get together we will begin the journey from exploring the picturesque Sliema and Gzira towns - 2 out of 3 the most vibrant cities preferred by tourists, soaking up their vibes in the evening. These coastal towns are known for their stunning views of Valletta's skyline and bustling promenades. We may stop by for dinner in a restaurant near the sea and bond over chatting. Before sleep we will dive deeper into relaxation with a guided meditation to get a profound sleep and get ready for an enriched day tomorrow. If you are not familiar with the meditation yet but are curious about it, it is a perfect place to start. Throughout the trip we can choose whether to stop buy for lunch or dinner or cook something together sharing our cooking skills π For breakfasts we will prepare ourselves in the evening of the 1st day getting what each of us prefer from a supermarket nearby.

Marsaxlokk
Day 2
We will start the day from the energizing meditative practice and take the route to Marsaxlokk! Immerse yourself in the vibrant ambiance of a charming fishing village known for its colorful traditional boats, called Luzzus. Marsaxlokk offers a glimpse into Malta's maritime heritage. The colorful boats and fresh seafood create a vibrant and lively atmosphere. Let's experience it and indulge in a culinary delight as we savor the catch of the day, prepared at a seaside restaurant. Connect with the serene surroundings and embrace the tranquility of the moment. 1. Public transportation (EUR2 per trip) 2. Taxi (ca. EUR2-7 each per trip depending how many we are) 3. *Recommended - Hop-on Hop-off Sightseeing bus (EUR22) that will bring us to all the stops with a flexibility to hop-off where we want and then continue the journey to the next destination. Another nice thing is it will be guided - with information about the island provided along the way. More perks: we will have a complimentary harbour cruise!

Blue Grotto
Day 2-3
Finally, the moment we've all been waiting for - the Blue Grotto is a complex of sea caves along the Southeastern part of Malta. On sunny days, the reflection of sunlight on the white sandy seafloor lights up the caves in bright blue hues, which is a true spectacle to admire! Feel free to take a boat tour to witness the breathtaking blue hues of the caves. The visit inside the grotto on a boat costs EUR8. We can stay longer to indulge in the pure joy of tasting local food and bask in the mesmerizing sunset. Don't worry about transportation - we can share a cab ride back home, an affordable option in Malta at just around EUR2-7 per person depending on how many we are. Tonight we cook together or just order a delivery and try to rest early. It was a fulfilling and long day!

Valletta
Day 3
Today after a refreshing morning meditation we experience a trip on a ferry to the capital city Valletta, admiring the views of the island from the sea. Valletta is known for its impressive fortifications and defensive walls, which were constructed to protect the city from invasions. The fortified walls, bastions, and moats offer panoramic views of the Grand Harbor and the surrounding areas. Valletta is often referred to as the "City of Palaces" due to its numerous grand palaces and noble residences. These palaces, such as the Grandmaster's Palace and Casa Rocca Piccola, showcase the opulence and grandeur of the city's past. Valletta is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its outstanding universal value and historical significance. The city's well-preserved Baroque architecture, fortified walls, and rich cultural heritage make it a true gem. Here we will explore enchanting gardens, panoramic views of the '3 Cities', tantalizing local delicacies, awe-inspiring architecture and charming streets. Witness the spectacle of cannon saluting battery if we're lucky. The Saluting Battery is a historic artillery battery that dates back to the 16th century. Today, it offers a unique experience as you can witness the firing of cannons, accompanied by stunning views of the Grand Harbor. Ferry ticket is EUR1.5 one way

Day 3
Continuing our exploration we take a ferry from Valletta to the Three Cities (Vittoriosa, Senglea, and Cospicua) that are steeped in history and offer a glimpse into Malta's past. We will explore the narrow streets, visit historical sites, and soak in the charm of these ancient cities, finding moments of serenity for meditation along the way. Here we can have a lunch at one of the restaurants near the sea offering a pretty view and the surrounding. Our journey today does not stop here! We return to Valletta in the evening, where the city's vibrant atmosphere offers a unique backdrop for reflection.

Day 3
Valletta in the evening transforms into a captivating and enchanting place, offering a unique atmosphere that is worth experiencing. Valletta's architectural marvels come alive with a magical glow and with the warm evening light, create a captivating ambiance that exudes elegance and grandeur. The narrow streets and charming alleyways of Valletta take on a romantic allure in the evening. As you wander through the city, you'll be captivated by the soft glow of street lamps, the sound of footsteps echoing on the cobblestones, and the occasional glimpse of couples enjoying a leisurely stroll hand in hand. In the evening, you may have the opportunity to witness live performances, concerts, or theatrical shows. From open-air stages to intimate venues, the city comes alive with the sounds of music, laughter, and applause. Valletta offers a plethora of outdoor dining options, allowing you to savor delicious cuisine from traditional Maltese dishes to international flavors, the evening ambiance adds an extra touch of charm to our dining experience as we bid farewell to our journey to Malta.

We come back to have rest before our last day together. Tonight we have an opportunity to conclude the day with a peaceful meditation session, expressing gratitude for the experiences and energy you've gained during your time in Malta.

Packed with souvenirs and memories, we celebrate the success of our trip. Flight time permitting we go to spend the day relaxing on a beach in Sliema, taking in the sun and the sea. An amazing end to an already memorable trip.
