I would like to go to Hong Kong and then the Philippines with a group of 6-10 people starting in February 2018. So far, all TravelMates except two are from NRW. Age-wise we are relatively broadly spread: from 24-40 years and gender-wise relatively equally distributed. For our adventure we are looking for more buddies - no matter where they are from, because traveling with more people is always more fun. We would like to fly together from Düsseldorf or Frankfurt to Hong Kong - the trip should start right away together :) We would like to spend the European winter in a warm place where we can see, experience and relax a lot. It should be a mix of culture, active vacation, sightseeing, action. Therefore, we have decided to go to the Philippines. The period is not yet 110% fixed. We want to start at the end of February and then travel together for max. 3-4 weeks. We are sociable people who would like to get to know different places and people. In addition, we are very uncomplicated, open and adaptable. If you like to travel, see, experience and laugh a lot, please contact me =) As usual, the group can first get to know each other to see if we can start a common journey. A previous meeting would be of course the readest for us. Kind regards P.s.: I do not take a TravelMaster fee, because the final organization will rather be done in the group. + I assume that all in all we will spend around 2,000 €. This would include transportation and accommodation on site - I'll be happy to give you details, just ask.

Trip Itinerary
1

Hong Kong

Day 1-3
We will meet in Hong Kong. That should be easy to reach for everyone. The city is huge, has the most skyscrapers in the world (more than New York) and is not otherwise poor in superlatives. The nightlife is also not to be sneezed at.
2

Manila

Day 3-4
Manila is the capital of the Philippines and with about 12 million inhabitants also the largest city. In addition to churches, palaces and museums, Manila also offers Rizal Park, China Town and the nightlife district of Quezon City. Here you can party 24/7. If you want to go shopping, don't miss the Mall of Asia with its 500 stores (and restaurants). It is one of the largest shopping malls in the Philippines and one of the largest in the world.
3

Cebu City

Day 4-7
Cebu is an island of the so-called Visayas (Cebu belongs to the Central Visayas), which together with the other two groups Luzon in the north and Mindanao in the south form the island state of the Philippines and has an area of about 5000 km² and about 2.9 million inhabitants. The capital of the island is Cebu City with the international airport on Mactan Island. There, in the past, the world explorer Magellan was killed by the locals. In Cebu the average annual temperature is about 25° C. In the mountains, the climate often feels cool, especially when it is foggy and humid. For tourists, this island with its friendly inhabitants is easy to travel. No matter if in buses or e.g. by motor scooter. The charming landscape and the often European-looking buildings invite to dream. It is noticeable that this island has a Spanish touch.
4

Puerto Princesa

Day 7-8
Puerto Princesa is the "capital" of Palawan. Not a very nice place but we will only be here for a short time to go to the north of the country. But nearby there is the River National Park with its Wolrd Heri
5

El Nido

Day 8-13
In the very north of Palawan is a small fishing and port town with 41,606 inhabitants. The name El Nidos comes from the many swallow nests (span. nide / nido) that are collected in the surrounding caves for swallow nest soup. The municipality is home to campuses of Western Philippines University and Palawan State University. We will see where we will stay, there are many resorts on the offshore islands, but also El Nido itself offers many nice accommodations and the day tours are the absolute madness. Overall, the absolute backpacker's dream!
6

Coron

Day 13-16
Coron is the third largest of the Calamian Islands, which in turn belongs to the Palawan Islands in the western Philippines. Coron is densely vegetated, although the steep slopes of the mountain do not allow for dense tropical forest. For divers and snorkelers, Coron Town is an ideal starting point for tours to the Calamian archipelago with its pristine island scenery and fantastic diving spots. The hot springs of Makinit outside the town and the many white, deserted sandy beaches on the neighboring islands (Busanga itself has no beach) invite you to relax.
7

Malay

Day 16-18
Finally, there is another high point: Boracay! With a length of only 7 kilometers, Boracay is small enough to explore with a rental bike or motorcycle. Nevertheless, there are more first-class beaches than anywhere else in the world: Yapak Beach with its wonderful white shells, White Beach with its breathtaking sunsets or the secluded Balinghai Beach.
8

Manila

Day 18-19
Last stop again Manila. From here it should go back home, even if I assume that no one wants to go home :)
