What's special?
special National Park
special Small Group Yoga/ Breathwork Classes
special Local Experiences
This experience is designed for people who want to reconnect with their bodies and experience Santa Barbara beyond the surface 🌿🌊. Throughout the trip, I’ll be guiding yoga, breathwork, and meditation to help regulate your nervous system, build presence, and create space for clarity and connection 🧘‍♀️🌬️. We’ll explore some of the most special parts of the area together, including a trip to Channel Islands National Park 🏝️, where we’ll spend time in nature and let the landscape do some of the work for us. We’ll also soak in local hot springs ♨️, take a sunrise pier walk 🌅, and visit my favorite local yoga studio to experience the Santa Barbara yoga community. Evenings are intentionally simple and human: time to unwind, rest, and a guided discussion circle at a local café ☕ — focused on reflection, integration, and real conversation. We’ll be staying just a 4-minute walk from the beach, leaving plenty of room for spontaneous ocean time, morning walks, and space to breathe between activities. This trip isn’t about packing every minute. It’s about balance — movement and stillness, nature and community, structure and freedom — so you leave feeling more grounded, clear, and connected than when you arrived ✨.

Hi, I’m Kai 👋 I’ve been traveling on and off for the past 12 years and recently completed my yoga teacher & breathwork facilitator trainings in India 🇮🇳🧘‍♀️🌬️. Alongside this, I work as a hostel manager, where I’ve spent years hosting travelers from all over the world and creating spaces where people feel welcome, relaxed, and connected. I love sharing yoga and breathwork in a way that’s grounded, approachable, and fun — mixed with ocean time, nature, real conversations, and plenty of laughs 🌊☀️😄. If you’re into movement, fresh air, and meaningful connection without taking life too seriously, you’ll fit right in.

Located 2 blocks from the beach, adjacent to the Amtrak Station in the cozy coastal town of Santa Barbara, the location doesn’t get any better! The award-winning ITH Santa Barbara Surf Hostel offers cozy beds and relaxing communal facilities. Both private rooms and dorm accommodations are available. The price listed is for a dorm style accommodation. Please let me know if you want to pay more to stay in a private room.

Santa Barbara

Day 1-5
Santa Barbara is a coastal gem, where the ocean meets mountains and everything feels a little more serene. Sunlight spills over palm-lined streets, waves crash against quiet beaches, and there’s a calm rhythm to life here that’s hard to find elsewhere. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and easy to fall in love with. I sure did :) Below are some of the locations we will check out in the area: 📍Channel Islands National Park: The Channel Islands are a hidden treasure off the coast of Southern California—a place where nature feels untouched and wild. It is not uncommon to spot dolphins and whales on the ferry ride over:) 📍Hot Springs Canyon: Tucked away in the hills of Montecito, the natural hot springs are a serene escape from the everyday. Warm, mineral-rich waters bubble up amidst lush greenery, inviting you to relax and let go. It’s a quiet, peaceful spot where you can soak, unwind, and feel completely connected to nature. It is about a 45 minute hike up to the springs. 📍 Yoga Soup: One of my favorite spots in town is Yoga Soup, a studio with a truly unique vibe. I’ll take you to my favorite classes here, where the energy feels open and supportive, and every practice leaves you feeling grounded and inspired.
