Valletta
Day 1-2
Arrival day π
I will pick you up from the airport and take you to the accommodation. This day is planned for settling into the apartment, getting to know each other, chilling, relaxing on the beach and soaking up the sun or doing some other activities. Open to your suggestions and wishes! π

The Three Cities
Day 2-3
We will start our morning exploring Valletta - the historic capital city of Malta. π Known for its UNESCO World Heritage status, Valletta is a treasure trove of architectural wonders, rich history, and cultural significance. Meandering through its well-preserved streets is like stepping back in time. We'll have the opportunity to visit iconic sites such as St. John's Co-Cathedral, a true masterpiece of Baroque art, and the Grand Master's Palace, where the history of the Knights of St. John comes to life. We will then take a leisurely break for lunch in one of Valletta's charming cafes or restaurants, where we will try delicious Maltese dishes or international cuisine while enjoying the city's enchanting ambiance. In the afternoon, we'll continue our journey by taking a scenic ferry ride across the Grand Harbour to the Three Cities - Vittoriosa (Birgu), Senglea (Isla), and Cospicua (Bormla). These three historic cities are a captivating contrast to Valletta. As we will set our foot on the charming shores of Vittoriosa, we'll be greeted by narrow alleyways, colourful balconies, and fortified walls that tell tales of centuries of history. π As the sun sets, we will experience a perfect setting for a delightful evening meal. The waterfront restaurants offer a romantic and picturesque atmosphere. The soft sea breeze, the gentle lapping of the water, and the historical backdrop create a magical dining experience. π₯

Gozo
Day 3-4
At the third day of our adventure we will take a ferry ride from the Maltese mainland to Gozo, a tranquil heaven known for its unspoiled landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The journey itself is a visual delight, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding islands. π€β΅ Our first stop will be the awe-inspiring Ggantija Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and among the world's oldest free-standing structures. These ancient megalithic temples are believed to be over 5,000 years old, offering a fascinating glimpse into prehistoric Malta. π Afterwards, we'll venture to Victoria, also known as Rabat, Gozo's charming capital. Our visit will center around the historic Cittadella, a fortified city perched on a hill. We will stroll through its labyrinthine streets and admire the centuries-old architecture. From the citadel's walls, we'll also witness breathtaking views of the Gozitan countryside. Time for a leisurely lunch at one of the sea food restaurants in Victoria is of course planned! Following lunch, we'll head to one of Gozo's most famous beaches, Ramla Bay. Its golden-red sand and crystal-clear waters make it an idyllic spot for relaxation. Here one can sunbathe, swim, or take a peaceful walk along the shoreline, taking in the natural surrounding beauty. ππ»ββοΈπ As the day comes to a close, we'll take a ferry back to Malta.

Mdina
Day 4-5
Our day will begin with a scenic drive to Mdina, a city known as the "Silent City" due to its tranquil atmosphere. This ancient walled city exudes an aura of timelessness and is a treasure trove of history and architecture. π Our first stop will be the Mdina Cathedral, a stunning Baroque masterpiece dedicated to St. Paul. The cathedral's interior is a feast for the eyes, adorned with intricate frescoes and art. For a taste of Mdina's darker history, we will explore the intriguing Mdina Dungeon. This immersive experience will take us through the underground chambers, revealing stories of the city's past, including tales of knights and dungeons. In the afternoon, we'll continue your journey in the adjacent town of Rabat exploring its charming streets and squares. We will also visit the St. Paul's Catacombs, a remarkable underground complex with a fascinating history. These catacombs date back to Roman times and were used for burials and religious rituals. This day will be a journey through time, taking you from the medieval streets of Mdina, through its rich religious and historical sites, to the quaint charm of Rabat and the mysterious catacombs. It's will be a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the cultural and historical tapestry of Malta.

Marsaxlokk
Day 5-6
In the morning, we will head our way to the famous Blue Grotto, one of Malta's most iconic natural attractions. We will take a boat tour that will allow us to experience the incredible sea caves and crystal-clear waters of the Blue Grotto, which are simply breathtaking. After the boat tour, we'll make our way to the traditional fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Marsaxlokk is a picturesque village known for its colourful fishing boats, known as "luzzu," which are adorned with the iconic "Eye of Osiris" to protect fishermen at sea. We will explore Marsaxlokk's charming streets and waterfront promenade. The village is also known for its Sunday fish market, where you can find a variety of fresh catches, including local specialties like lampuki (dolphinfish). We will have then a delicious lunch together. As the day winds down, we'll head back to the accommodation and everyone will be able to enjoy the evening at their own leisure.

Blue Lagoon
Day 6-7
Our day will begin with an exciting ferry ride to Comino Island, renowned for its captivating Blue Lagoon. The journey across the azure waters of the Mediterranean is a delightful experience in itself, offering panoramic views of the coastline and neighbouring islands. Upon reaching Comino, we'll be greeted by the mesmerizing beauty of the Blue Lagoon. This striking natural wonder is characterized by its crystal-clear, aquamarine waters that seem to glow in the sunlight. You can relax on the pristine sandy beach, sunbathe, and admire the stunning surroundings. Alternatively, dive into the cool waters for a refreshing swim or indulge in snorkelling to observe the vibrant marine life thriving beneath the surface. Comino offers more than just beaches. The island boasts a unique natural beauty that can be explored on various nature trails. We can embark on one of these trails to discover the island's diverse flora, including wildflowers and shrubs. Moreover, we can explore some of Comino's caves, adding a sense of adventure to your day. These caves offer not only geological intrigue but also peaceful spots to connect with nature. During our time on Comino, we will have a delicious lunch, either in one of the open-air restaurants or through a picnic on the beach, enjoying the soothing sounds of the sea and the refreshing sea breeze. In the late afternoon, we'll take the ferry back to Malta.

Malta
Day 7
Our checking out and departure day. 𧳠Hate to say it - but our trip will end here. I am pretty sure that we will all be leaving with unforgettable moments, new friendships and cherished experiences to continue carrying with us. Nevertheless, I will be looking forward to having other trip adventures together again in the near future. π
