Trip overview ⬇ This weekend adventure kicks off on Friday with an airport pick-up and dives straight into the heart of Macedonian culture with an evening of kafana hopping. You will experience authentic local music, try traditional dishes, and enjoy the lively atmosphere. 🥙☕🍸 Saturday brings a blend of history and nature with a visit to Vodno Mountain, accessible by hike or cable car, followed by a tour of the historic Church of St. Panteleimon. The day will end with an exploration of the stunning Matka Canyon, offering options for both relaxation on a boat tour and adventure with kayaking. 🌊🌄 Sunday is dedicated to cultural exploration with a morning stroll through the Old Bazaar, Skopje's historical and commercial center, and a scenic visit and hike to Kozjak Dam offering magnificent view of the Kozjak Lake. The day ends on a high note with a wine tasting session featuring some of Macedonia's finest local wines. 🍷 The trip concludes on Monday with a convenient drop-off service to the airport, leaving you enriched with vibrant memories and completely refreshed to go back to your daily life. 🤩

Day 1-2

On the first day of our adventure, I'll meet you at the airport and provide transportation to your centrally located accommodations. 🚗 This will be a day of enjoying and exploring the city on your own. 😊 🌟 Special, optional activity --> Imagine soaring gently above the city of Skopje, with the majestic mountains and historic city below you. It's an experience that will leave you breathless and craving more. So why not seize the opportunity to make your visit to Macedonia truly extraordinary with a thrilling paragliding excursion? If you're feeling adventurous and paragliding sounds exciting to you - there's an opportunity to experience it in Skopje! 🪂

Matka Canyon Trail

Day 2-3

On the second day we will visit some of the best tourist attractions in Skopje: ➡ The Vodno mountain offering an amazing overview of the capital: either with a cable car ride to the top of it or hiking ➡ The Matka canyon, a wonderful nature sight where we will take a boat trip or kayaks to the Vrelo cave (arguably the deepest in the world). Plenty of other activities are available on site: hiking, visiting old monasteries or simply having a nice drink/lunch and enjoying the beauty of this touristic area. ✨ In the evening we will have our kafana hopping tour. This will be a fantastic opportunity to dive into the local culture, as we'll visit several restaurants in one of Skopje's most lively areas. Each stop will offer a different dishes and drinks 🥗🍸, all included in the price. A great way for us all to get to know each other while experiencing the vibrant atmosphere and culture of Skopje. 🤩

Kozjak

Day 3-4

✨ We will start the morning with a walking sightseeing tour of Skopje where we will visit the Macedonia square, Memorial House of Mother Teresa, Skopje Fortress Kale, the old Bazaar with its' mid-15th century han buildings: Suli An & Kapan Han and much more. 🌆 ▶ We will then continue towards Kozjak - another beautiful spot in Skopje offering an amazing viewpoint of the Kozjak Lake. After a short hike we will have a beautiful view where a gorgeous sunset/sunrise can be seen from the top overlooking the lake. It is a perfect picnic spot as well. 🏞 ⭐ In the late afternoon hours, we will be heading towards one of the best vineyards in Macedonia (outside of Skopje). We will have wine tasting, as well as a delicious lunch there (included in the price). In the evening we will drive back to Skopje. 🥂

Day 4

✨ Checking out. On this day, depending on your flight departure time - we can have nice breakfast/lunch together and be open and flexible for different activities. I will then of course take you all back to the airport. Hate to say it - but our trip will end here. Nevertheless, I will be looking forward to having other trip adventures together again in the future. 💕
