About me
I’m an easygoing, curious traveller who loves adventures that are a little different from the usual holiday. I’m happiest exploring old towns, castles and ruins, hunting through antique shops and markets, trying local food, metal detecting, fossicking, diving or discovering somewhere with a great story behind it. I love history, mysteries, paranormal stories and anything quirky or off the beaten track. I’m looking to travel more, have some amazing experiences and meet like-minded people who are fun, friendly and keen to join in on the adventure. If a trip sounds interesting, I’m usually up for giving it a go!
I’ve spent a lot of my life working, travelling when I can and always chasing little adventures along the way. I’ve worked in tourism and hospitality and have always loved exploring new places, meeting people and discovering the stories behind different towns and destinations. I’m especially drawn to anything a little unusual — history, old buildings, antiques, paranormal stories, metal detecting, fossicking and places that are off the normal tourist trail.
At the moment I’m looking to travel more and create some really fun adventures with like-minded people. I’m always researching interesting places to visit and unusual things to do — from exploring historic towns, markets and antique shops to ghost hunting, metal detecting, fossicking, diving, local food and little hidden gems. I’d love to meet people who are keen to join me on some of these trips.
Anything that feels like an adventure! I love old towns, castles, ruins, haunted places, mysteries, antiques, flea markets, quirky shops, local food, metal detecting, fossicking, diving and exploring places with an interesting story behind them. My favourite trips are the ones where you come home with great stories and have done something you probably wouldn’t have done on an ordinary holiday.
Because I don’t want to just see places — I want to experience them. I love the idea of having adventures, trying things I’ve always wanted to do and sharing those experiences with a fun group of people. There are so many places and experiences still on my bucket list, and I think travelling is much more fun when you have good people to enjoy it with.
