Details about this trip
The Great British Antique Hunt is a small-group journey through some of England and Wales’ best antique towns, markets, historic villages and hidden treasure troves. We’ll spend our days browsing antique centres, vintage shops, flea markets and local fairs, with plenty of time to hunt for unique finds and bargains. Think Bargain Hunt meets Antiques Roadshow, but as a real travelling adventure — staying in cosy heritage-style accommodation, exploring beautiful old towns, enjoying local food and discovering the stories behind the things we find.

Hi, I’m Lisa. I love antiques, history, old towns, markets, quirky shops and finding things with a story behind them. I’m the kind of traveller who would happily spend hours wandering through an antique centre, local market or historic village looking for something unusual. For this trip, I’m hoping to bring together a small, friendly group who enjoy the same sort of treasure hunting. I’d love it to be relaxed, fun and social, with plenty of time to browse, bargain hunt, explore beautiful places and enjoy the experience together rather than rushing from one stop to the next.

We’ll stay in cosy, character-filled accommodation that suits the feel of the trip — heritage B&Bs, traditional inns and charming stays in historic towns and countryside villages. I’d like the accommodation to be part of the experience, with old buildings, local character and plenty of atmosphere rather than modern chain hotels. Breakfast will be included where possible, and the exact stays will be confirmed once the final route is locked in. I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with a small group of fellow antique and vintage lovers. From browsing hidden gems and local markets to exploring historic towns and relaxing in characterful stays, the focus is on enjoying the hunt, discovering new places and having a fun experience together. Whether you’re an experienced collector or simply love finding things with a story, you’re very welcome to join me. If you have any questions about the trip, itinerary or accommodation, feel free to reach out, I’ll be happy to help!
