Details about this trip
We will spend a magical weekend in the 5 Terre, exploring them far and wide with the little train that crosses them! It will be a fantastic experience where we will find the best views, taste the typical local dishes and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the villages of the lands of Manarola, Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia and Riomaggiore. As soon as we arrive at our magical destination we will begin our travel itinerary. Let me tell you about the trip: DAY ONE: Let's start from Riomaggiore: this is the easternmost of the lands. The tour of Riomaggiore will certainly take you to visit the Castle located in an elevated position from which you can admire almost the entire village, offering a unique spectacle. After having also made a quick tour of the ancient village we’ll do our first experience, we will make the real pesto. In this experience we will learn how to make Genoese Pesto by pounding all the ingredients in a mortar, according to the traditional technique and according to the recipe and in the end we will eat what we made with Testaroli, a typical Lunigiana pasta, a glass of wine and pleasant chats. DAY TWO: we will go to Manarola by train or, for those who want, they can embark with me on an excursion in the mountain paths that connect the two villages lasting 1 hour. Whatever your choice, now that we have arrived in Manarola it is time to discover the following places: tour of the small centre, stop at the church of San Lorenzo and the Bastion of Manarola. After this visit we will change our village going to Corniglia, the smallest of the Cinque Terre. The peculiarity of Corniglia is that it does not directly overlook the sea but is located on the top of a promontory about one hundred meters high, surrounded by vineyards. Of the village you will have to visit the church of San Pietro, the oratory and the staircase. DAY THREE: The days are few and time flies, we have already arrived at our last day of vacation. Today is the turn of the last village: it's time for Vernazza. It stands on a small promontory that fits into the sea here we will visit the Doria castle, the usual old town and the church of Santa Margherita di Antiochia. And in the end we will finish our trip in Monterosso we will get lost in the alleys of the village discovering wonderful places and fantastic views. Once we have explored the village, we will visit the following "attractions": the church of San Francesco, the Borgo Antico, the Torre Aurora and obviously the most famous beach of the place, namely the Fegina beach. We will see glimpses that offer breathtaking views. What is included in the price? - Accommodation - Transportation - Culinary Experience. Are you ready to explore Cinque Terre? Keep in mind the Cinque Terre (“five lands”) is made up of five villages so you will be seeing from the sights to the cuisine and welcoming locals. So join my trip and travel to Italy to get the most out of a guaranteed magical trip.
