Winter is here, and apparently the covid restrictions will be present, those of us who work remotely have the opportunity to do something different, and what better way than to work from the Caribbean? beautiful beaches, sun, white sand and an average temperature of 28 degrees. My name is Luis and I am a native of the Dominican Republic, I work as a remote developer and I live in the city of Nuremberg. The trip is divided into 5 stops: Samana, Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo, Barahona, Punta Cana. Approximately one week for each place (some days in Santo Domingo, in other places a few more days). We will use a high speed mobile connection point for the internet. The cost includes accommodation, transportation, internet, excursions and snacks. In each place I have reserved apartments and villas (depending on the place) with enough space (see below), everyone has a private room in all the places we go, as well as places of fun and entertainment. The cost of the vehicle is also included. We agree on what days and hours we want to work and when we want to go on excursions, explore or just go to the beach and work from there (all places have beaches :). everyone is free to do something different if they wish at any time if they want to be at peace, or if they accept my invitations to excursions :). The idea is that everyone has their privacy so they can work or simply disconnect from the world and relax, at the same time that they have the options to enjoy nature, beaches, rivers, the people there and the culture at the hands of a native of the island. the apartments and villas have everything we need to relax and rest, kitchen, balconies, gardens, entertainment areas, etc. twice a week includes body massages (except in Santo Domingo)! There is a good factor and another that may not be so bad, is the time change. If you must be online from early (8 am) then you would have to wake up a little earlier (4-5 am, Dominican time) although this is not very noticeable since the "Jet Lag" allows you to go to bed and wake up early . The best part is that at 12:00 - 13:00 (Dominican time) work is finished (generally) in Europe, so we have the rest of the day to enjoy everything! Regarding restrictions due to the covid, the measures are very soft and everything is open, the level of contagion is very small, the hygiene measures have been praised, and tourism has already started again. Questions and more information PM!
