Hey, I'm Nasti and your contact for great travel destinations, which can be a little off the beaten path. I love to discover new things and to go my own way. My travel style is not "typical tourist" but rather adventurous. We go on an extensive road trip through beautiful South Africa, past spectacular nature spots, visit canyons, watch penguins on the beach, drive the Garden Route and look for the Big 5 in Kruger National Park. "Pure nature - on the trail of wildlife" is our motto. It is about the most beautiful sides of the country: Cape Town, Lion's Head, Table Mountain, Addo Elephant Park, Robberg Nature Reserve, Blyde River Canyon and Panorama Route - all these and many more are spots on our trip. Be there when we discover the nature and wildlife of South Africa. I tell you, your memory card is guaranteed to glow with so many great photo opportunities waiting around every corner! I would like to create an unforgettable trip with like-minded people who are also interested in discovering, exploring, hidden gems and content creation. Of course "Travelous-like" as a road trip on your own with a rental car. WHAT IS INCLUDED: - All accommodations during the trip (fancy villas, safari lodges and co.) - Rental car for the whole period (+ insurance and deposit) WHAT'S EXCLUSIVE: - Outbound flight from Germany to Cape Town - Return flight from Johannesburg to Germany - Domestic flight Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg (approx. 55€) - Meals (we will keep it low budget and often self-cater) - Entrance fees & other activities of your choice on site (game drives, gondola ride etc.) - Tips, "pocket money" etc. - Fuel, tolls If you have any questions, feel free to write me in the Q&A - I look forward to hearing from you!

Cape Town

Day 1-4
This is where the adventure begins. To arrive and get into the vibe of South Africa, we spend the first days in Cape Town. Here we explore the city, slowly immerse ourselves in the culture and discover the most beautiful places like Lion's Head or Table Mountain. The first day is flexible and we spontaneously see what we still want to explore, since probably all arrive at different times. On the second and third day it's SIGHTSEEING - whoever wants can take the gondola up Table Mountain, hike a bit, go to Lion's Head or explore the city center in small groups. We let ourselves drift, plan spontaneously what we feel like and visit some highlights in day trips (let us surprise you). Of course always with the focus on: Hidden Gems, awesome nature spots and culture...so pull out your camera as often as you can!

Hermanus

Day 4-5
Who wants to see whales? For us it goes on to the whale capital of South Africa where we witness a very special experience! From July to November, the sea giants migrate towards Hermanus to mate in the calm waters. We are lucky enough to be there during the annual Whale Watching Festival and will extensively search for the gigantic giants. There is also the option to take a guided whale watching tour with an ecologically responsible operator, where we can admire the animals up close. I can promise you, this experience will definitely be unique. Driving distance on this day: approx. 130km

George

Day 5-6
We leave the whales behind as we continue along the Garden Route from Hermanus in the morning. We drive past spectacular places, visit beaches and great nature reserves. Especially after the Cape Town city bustle we now enjoy the time in nature and discover the real South Africa. Driving distance on the day: approx. 350km
4

Gqeberha

Day 6-9
Our next base is in Port Elizabeth, from where we go on two really exciting day trips. We will visit the Addo Elephant Park and track down the majestic pachyderms. The next day we head north to Camdeboo National Park, where more animals, great scenery and really beautiful viewpoints await us. Entrance fee Camdeboo: approx. 10€ (to be paid locally) Entrance fee: Addo Elephant approx. 20€ (to be paid on site) On the third day we return the rental car and board the plane to Johannesburg (travel day).
5

Johannesburg

Day 9
By plane we cross the country for 1.5 hours until we finally land in Johannesburg. Here we pick up our new rental car and start towards the Blyde River Canyon along the Panorama Route. Driving time: approx. 5h
6

Blyde River Canyon

Day 9-11
Arrived at a natural highlight that will definitely blow you away! The Blyde River Canyon is an absolute must-see in South Africa and therefore definitely belongs on our list. We will drive along the canyon on 2 days and enjoy the view at different viewpoints along the famous Panorama Route. We finally set up our "camp" in Graskop, where we have a cozy evening and go to bed early...the alarm clock rings early the next morning 🤫
7

Kruger National Park

Day 11-14
I hope you all have your binoculars and telephoto lenses ready, because finally we are off to the highlight of our tour: Off on SAFARI. We are looking for the Big 5 and drive through the beautiful Kruger National Park. Definitely a highlight of this trip and definitely a "once in a lifetime experience" for all fellow travelers. From Graskop we drive only 50 minutes to the gate of the park and let ourselves drift for the day in search of animals. In total we will stay 3 days in the park, cover quite some distance and if necessary take part in exciting "game drives", where we go with guided rangers in search of animal encounters.

Johannesburg

Day 14-15
This is where our trip ends: in Johannesburg. After 14 days of adventure, wildlife and nature, our trip is coming to an end. As a finale, we will have a good time in Johannesburg, review our experiences and start our journey home the next day. We say goodbye to new friends and enjoy a few last hours together.
