The trip is almost fully booked, there are still two places available!!! Hello! I'm Max, actually an arborist from Frankfurt am Main, but also a passionate sailor for about 6 years. This time I want to sail along the Italian west coast as well as to Sardinia. The route given here is a suggestion, depending on the wishes of the crew it can also go to Sicily or southern Italy. The sailing trip starts in Salerno and ends there as well. From Salerno we sail together to the waypoints decided with the crew. Of course we will sleep on the yacht. Diving/snorkeling bays or marinas will be visited as desired. Of course, shore excursions are also part of the program, whether it is a walk through one of the countless harbor towns or a hike through the beautiful Italian countryside. Shopping and cooking are done together or restaurants are approached, also here all possibilities are open. No previous experience or previous knowledge is required, but about a helping hand, as part of the crew, I am happy. What is included in the price? In the price per person are the charter costs, skipper, dinghy with outboard and if necessary a spinnaker. Additionally 400€ board cash is to be planned, these are for harbor fees, diesel and food. Any surplus, if any, will be refunded. The board cash is administered by the crew itself. I look forward to your messages!

5/5
It was my first time on a multi-day sailing trip. Max has been proactivity informed me about the safety instructions as well as the basic for sailing. It was a great experience overall.

Trip Itinerary
1

Naples

Day 1-2
On the day of arrival, all TripMates should arrive at the marina by 2 pm. After that, we determine together the exact route for the trip and go shopping together for food for the week. After a briefing on the functions and safety equipment on board and the distribution of roles for the maneuvers of the following two weeks, we go to dinner together to get to know each other.
2

Ischia

Day 2-3
On day 2, all crew members are taught the basics of sailing, so that everyone can lend a hand during the trip. Even TripMates without any sailing experience can take over individual tasks and later even the helm. You can decide for yourself whether you want to relax in the sun and leave the steering to others or take over the helm yourself. In the afternoon/evening, we anchor in one of the beautiful bays of the island or moor in a marina.
3

Rome

Day 3-5
The next day we will continue towards Rome. When planning the cruise, we will decide whether to make a stopover on Isola di Ponza or to sail completely through. Here we also like to take plenty of time for one or the other bath and extensive shore excursions. Rugged cliffs, beautiful bays and white sandy beaches are waiting for us!
4

Olbia

Day 5-8
From Rome we will start our crossing to Olbia. This will also go overnight, so depending on wind conditions we will arrive in Olbia, Sardinia, during the next day. Here we will look at the surrounding small islands and coastal strips in the next few days and explore the cultural and scenic highlights here as well.
5

Elba

Day 8-11
On the way to Elba we will make a few more stops along the Corsican coast. On and around Elba we will again have the opportunity to spend time snorkeling, swimming or diving in the water, hiking and strolling around town on land. You can reach the top of Monte Capanne either on foot or by gondola and enjoy the view over Elba and the sea from there. In the evenings we either cook together or indulge in one of the quaint coastal restaurants.
6

Naples

Day 11-15
From Elba we then make our way home. Here we stop several times for swimming, snorkeling and shore excursions. For this we head for a few beautiful anchor bays and islands. Friday we will dock in Salerno, together we will spend the evening in the marina or in the vicinity. In the course of the next day we leave the boat after an extensive breakfast.
