I organized multiple trips on Join My Trip and I have been to Morocco many times already, I totally fell in love with this beautiful country and it’s culture. I haven’t been there for a while now due to corona and I can’t wait to go back. This trip is perfect for all adventurous people, it’s definitely not a typical holiday. The trip starts in Marrakesh and from there we will do day trips to places around, go to Essaouira (the coast) and a trip to the desert where we will also spend the night. You are also welcome to stay longer; I am organizing a coworking trip right after this one. Trip Itinerary

Marrakesch
Day 1-3
I will show you around the old city of Marrakech! We will visit the most famous places like the El Badi Palace and much more. Let’s try to negotiate prices at the Souk (market), it’s so much fun there!

Ourika waterfalls
Day 3-4
Ourika Valley is located around 40 km from Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains. Instead of an organized tour we will travel there like the locals and take a small bus for about an hour. There we will hike to see the famous waterfalls and enjoy an amazing view. If we are lucky we can even see berber monkeys there.

Aït-Ben-Haddou
Day 4-5
On our way to the desert we will have a few stops, for example we will visit the famous town Ait-Ben-Haddou where they filmed movies like Prince of Persia or Game of Thrones. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, Aït Benhaddou was once a major stop along the caravan route between Marrakech and the Sahara

Zagora
Day 5-6
In the late afternoon we will arrive close to the desert where we will take camels to ride to our desert camp. We will have some time to enjoy the sunset, having dinner and spending the evening around the fire with some music. The next day we will wake up early and head back home to Marrakech

Essaouira
Day 6-7
We will go for a day trip to the coast and visit the city Essaouira. This place is way calmer than Marrakech and definitely worth a visit! We will explore the town and spend some time at the beach together. On the way we will also stop at a local argan oil production and see something very unusual - goats on trees!
