It is the smallest country on the continent and has a beautiful river running through it. But the really special thing is the people. I have traveled the world a lot, but in no country are the people as open and friendly as on the "smiling Coast". 🌍 Love Peace and Unity are the order of the day here. ☮️ 💗💫 The Gambia is also called the "second Jamaica" as reggae music and Rastafari characterize the country. 🇬🇲🇯🇲🇬🇲🇯🇲 The young population of The Gambia is like a big family and I invite you to be part of it. The trip will make you see the world through new eyes, it's so magical ! 💫 Immerse yourself in the diverse culture, let go of all preconceptions and enjoy the beauty of the country. 🌞 If you want to not only discover the country but also participate in a wonderful group program for personal development, I recommend you to check out my other trip (retreat). 🔎 This trip here (Roundtrip) is a group trip where we discover Gambia together - a unique adventure that will take you through all parts of the country together with a group! The trip goes as follows: After you are warmly welcomed at the airport, with bananas 🍌 and water 💦, by our personal drivers, we spend the first 5 days in Serekunda - in a nice apartment or the Badala Park Hotel (depending on availability) in Kotu. Nearby is a beach bar, Dominos, where we will be optimally supplied with food and drink every day and you can relax on the beautiful beach. 🏖 From there we start with our experienced and friendly tour guides to the different sights. 🗽 Your trip will be planned individually with you on site, here are a few examples of what adventures await you in the city: - Monkey Park - crockodile Pool (touch real, sacred crocodiles) - lamin Lodge (canoe trip to 800 years old tree) - snakefarm - various markets - various cultural events In the evening you can celebrate life on happy reggae parties or enjoy a few beers to traditional live music. I myself will accompany you for the most part, or another person from our wonderful team ! 💕 So you will always be in the best company, even if I can not join every adventure - we will not leave you alone! After the city, you will then cross the Gambia River to the North Bank, where you will stay at Mr. B Camp, or a similar loving camp (depending on availability) for the next 1-2 nights. This beautiful camp has been sheltering backpackers and travelers from all over the world for 23 years and Mr. B is one of the warmest people around! You will also get to know the typical village life, see how cooking is done over fire and how people manage wonderfully with very few possessions. The following excursions can be made, depending on the group dynamics: - Albreda (slave transshipment point). - Hippo Safari🦛 - Stone Circle - holy Forest - Farms / Village visiting After that you will go to "Paradise Island" for 2-3 days. 🏝 We have built a beautiful camp on the river in the middle of the Niumi National Park! Should one of our retreats take place at that time, you will be accommodated in the Jinack Lodge - a wonderful location directly on the sea, with a large bar and restaurant! 🍱 🍺 After the island, it's back to the city where you can enjoy the remaining days and hours before the return flight. ✈️ This trip has been done multiple times! We are networked everywhere and have a large, familiar and dedicated team which takes care of you full of devotion. Before the trip I will personally prepare you for everything organizational and you can already get to know the group. ✌🏼 💰 Included in the price: - Transportation to and from the airport and between each accommodation (Kotu-Mr.B-PARADISE Island). - Accommodation (nature camp, shared rooms). - We will cook a hot meal for you every day and serve breakfast and dinner. For all meals, snacks and drinks you would like to have besides our offer, please pay yourself! Not included: Entrance fees and transportation costs for the tours will be paid by you on site, because not everyone wants to participate in every tour and the prices vary depending on the group size!
