Coworking trip
Hey guys! If you feel like escaping the cold weather this is your perfect chance to enjoy the sun and the beauty of Guatemala in January, then this trip is for you :) I've organized 4 coworking trips so far and they were amazing experiences so I'm looking forward to keeping doing it for the rest of the year. I was born in El Salvador so Spanish is my mother tongue but I can speak fluent English and some Italian, but I've been traveling for 6 years and lived in different countries so I'm happy to keep exploring other corners of the world and meeting new people. Guatemala is a Gem in the north of Central America, you'll be able to visit Antigua Guatemala which is only 40 minutes from the capital and immediately transports you to a different era, with its colonial buildings and cobbled streets. The city itself it's rich in culture and offers amazing traditional food. If you're into outdoor activities you can also have the chance to go trekking to Acatenango Volcano with amazing views of the city. From there we'll go to Lake Atitlan, where you can enjoy a peaceful stay in this beautiful lake surrounded by volcanos and take a yoga class whenever you feel keen to. I'm looking for 5-6 co-working buddies who are in the mood for a relaxed co-working shared house and a few cool trips after work and on the weekend. Balance of girls and boys would be great! You should also be willing to share a room ๐Ÿ˜ƒ (a single room may be possible*) The place is really comfy but in case you need extra room for your meetings I can set you up for a coworking space although that expense will run on your own. A short explanation of the trip costs ๐Ÿ’ฐ: These only include the accommodation on site, private transportation to the different locations and a trip leader fee per person, as I take care of the organization - and experience has shown all the work that needs to be done to put a trip together. We pack other costs for groceries, activities, etc. on-site in Splitwise and settle them at the end :) The remote work trip only takes place if I find at least 4 TripMates for the 2 weeks. The price can still change, depending on how many people there are and what kind of accommodation we get - but it is a rough estimate. Being from El Salvador, I've visited Guatemala many many times in my life and I've enjoy my adventures there so I will make sure you have a great stay and have the best experience in Central America.

Antigua it's a Unesco World Heritage site, surrounded by volcanoes just 40 minutes away from the capital, known for its colonial heritage, magical vibes, amazing weather and cultural sites. The town is perfect for walking and exploring around the markets and plazas, getting handcrafts for souvenirs and enjoying the traditional food from Guatemala.

Acatenango Base Camp Area

Day 7-8
If you're into outdoor activities and trekkings this is for you! (so this activity it's completely optional) We'll stay in the base camp of the slopes of the beautiful Acatenango Volcano to enjoy the 360 panoramic views of Guatemala where you can appreciate the sights of Volcan de Fuego eruptions. Next day in the morning we'll hike to the peak of Acatenango Volcano, with panoramic views from the summit and descend back to Antigua by the afternoon. This trip includes a local guide, transportation, camping gear, and security staff during the hike.

Lake Atitlรกn

Day 8-15
Lake Atitlan is a volcanic crater in Guatemala ringed by mayan villages and volcanoes, it's one of the largest tourist attractions of this country for a reason! The natural vegetation of this place, and the unique biodiversity makes it a perfect place to connect with nature. The landscapes are breathtaking and it is known for its cultural heritage and local mayan traditions. Feel free to take a yoga class overlooking the lake or joining the walking tour around the village.
