Hi!! I'm Flaminia, and I'm going to be your trip leader in Sicily!!! Let me introduce myself first! I'm Sicilian and I always love to share my love for my island. I'm not just a trip leader, I'm also a musician and a bailaora (a flamenco dancer), so surely traveling with me will take you to funny moments full of art! We will meet in Palermo and we will discover together all treasures hidden in this beautiful city. We also will take a train to Cefalù for walking in its narrow streets while eating a tasty traditional ice cream. We are going to visit the botanical garden, Teatro Massimo (the third biggest theatre in Europe and the first in Italy), and we will have a walk on the Cathedral rooftop. We are going to watch a traditional puppets show and walk in one of the biggest open-air markets in Sicily! Of course, we are going to have a super classical Italian aperitif at the sunset watching the sea. Prepare comfy shoes but also trendy outfits and of course a swimsuit!!! The weather will be very sunny and hot, so don't forget your sun cream and a beautiful hat. We will also visit some places where people have had family-run businesses for many generations. We will reach the top of Mount Pellegrino, a mount exactly in the center of the city. Our hotel will be in the city center, so it will be easy to move from one place to another. The cost includes: - Accommodation in Palermo (Shared rooms) - A street food tasting - Bus tickets to reach Mount Pellegrino. Are you in? Send me a message if you have any questions!
I'm Flaminia, I'm a traveler since I was born. In my free time I dance flamenco and sing rock'n'roll. I work as a tour manager and also I teach English online for children from 3 years old, I help them to prepare for certification exams.
The accomodation is an ancient house precisely in the historical centre of the city. There's a shared bathroom, and each room has its own air conditioning. There's a kitchen where you can prepare your breakfast and ingredients are all ready for you, especially there's a coffee machine (moka) to prepare a traditional Italian espresso coffee. Every room has 1 bed and 1 wardrobe, sheets and towels are provided for each person. There's also a living room where you can spend the relaxing time all together, and for those who want there's also a TV.
