What's special?
special Sailing Experience
special Embrace Nature in Tranquil Anchorages
special Foster Bonds & Lasting Memories
We will sail from island to island and bay to bay in short hops from Poros to Salamina to provide enough time for people to work on their laptops and do remote-work. So we will only sail 1-2 hours each day or stay 2 days in one anchorage. My yacht that has completed a sail around the world and is equipped with many nice toys like a SUP and a watermaker that makes life on the sea comfortable and chill. We will do a good mix of swimming around the boat in anchorages, visiting 1-2 island towns and explore there, visiting beach bars and Tavernas and maybe take a scooter to drive around an island. We will pool about 200 Euros per person at the start of the trip for the "crew kitty" to get food and drinks for the week and for marina fees and for re-fueling the boat at the end of the trip.

About Me! I am a 37-year-old German journalist who quit his job to sail around the world. I have also worked as a yacht skipper as a side job for 10+ years. I have also a masters degree in Political Science and Sociology. I am easygoing and uncomplicated as a person.

The boat has 4 double cabins. You share your cabin usually with another crew member of the same sex unless you want it differently. We also have 2 mattresses to sleep on deck and 2 hammocks. We have two bathrooms. In the middle of the boat is the salon with kitchen and big table with sofa area to hang out, cook and eat. Any questions about the trip? You can let me know in the Q&A section!

Trip Itinerary
1

Poros

Day 1-3
At the beginning of our trip, we first must do some food-shopping with the crew to prepare for the week. In the evening, we either check the tavernas or cook onboard and then explore town afterwards. Maybe we walk up to the clock tower to stretch our legs and enjoy the view over the sound.
2

Methana

Day 3-4
Methana island is less yachtie but also less touristy than Poros, you find grudgy characters sitting in the old tavernas. It has a small vulcanic spring near the port and if we get to it there is some hiking to a volcanic mountain top to do. But on this trip we want to do some remote-work too, so we will more likely enjoy the view from the cockpit or a harbor cafe while sitting on our laptops.
3

Agistri

Day 4-5
Agistri Island has some nice bays - for instance Dragonera bay on its West side. At its beach-bar we have the perfect spot to end the day with beers or cocktails and adhere to the age-old nautical tradition of the sundowner-drink after a day at the laptop.
4

Peristeria

Day 5-6
Peristeria as a bay on Salamina island is famous for its light-blue crystal clear and shallow water - an oversized swimming pool with a tiny off-lying island. A nice area to play at noon - while also getting some remote-work done in the morning or afternoon.
5

Salamis Island

Day 6-8
We end our trip in Salamina, the island just west of Athens. It can be left easily to Piraeus/Athens via a 1 hour ferry ride across the harbor of Athens that in itself is an experience. Salamina is well sheltered making for a nice end of the trip on an island that is very Greek-dominated where not many foreign tourists come.
