Tarangire National Park

Day 1

Today you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive 2.5 hours through beautiful landscapes to Tarangire National Park. After lunch you will go on a game drive in the park all afternoon. After the game drive we will be heading to Africa Safari Glamping. Freshen up and prepare for a dinner prepared by your private cook. Tarangire National Park is located 115 km south of Arusha. It is a long and narrow park that covers 2850 km2 and runs along the Tarangire River. The name of the park is taken from the river, which is the only source of water for the wild animals that live here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.

Lake Manyara National Park

Day 1-2

Today we will go on a full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. This park is known for its breathtaking panoramic views, waterfalls and babbling brooks with clear water and hot springs. It is located between the rocks of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara. Of the approximately 390 km2 that make up the park, two-thirds of that is water. The rest of the park is a large strip of land between the lake and the rocks. The beauty of this park is partly due to its large variety of wildlife, grasslands, forests and water. Lake Manyara has one of the largest populations of water birds in Africa at over 400 species, including flamingos and pelicans. Large herds of elephants are also found here, as well as giraffes, hippos, water buffalos and impalas. At the end of the afternoon we will go to African Glamping Tented Camp. Freshen up and prepare for a dinner prepared by your private cook around 7:00pm.

Day 2-3

Today you will head into the Serengeti and spend three days exploring this amazing park. At the end of each game drive you will head to your campsite in the middle of the park and enjoy a nice dinner prepared by your chef. The Serengeti is known for its endless savannah plains and forest landscapes. It covers an area of about 30,000 km2 in the north of Tanzania and Kenya, 80% of which is located in Tanzania. The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and thousands of predators fleeing drought in search of fresh water and grazing. After the rains arrive in mid-April they make the reserve journey via a detour through the western portion of the Serengeti. Grasslands cover more than one third of the park and you will find many animals here throughout the year.
