Trip Itinerary

Tulum
Day 1-3
My plan is as follows: Sat Jan 4: Arrive in Tulum from airport and get settled in (airport transfer NOT included - I have been to Mexico several times in the past and recommend ADO bus for this journey) Day 2: Rent a bike to explore the Tulum ruins and beaches in the area. Day 3: Rent a bike to continue exploring Tulum's street art and visit a cenote, included evening bus to next stop ***Travelers have the option to join me or pick their own interests at any point along this entire itinerary - please let me know your interests/hobbies***

Bacalar
Day 3-5
Day 3: Arrive and get settled into hostel Day 4: Half-day boat tour of the Lagoon (included in cost), some snacks and drinks are included on the boat, and we will be gone for approx. 4 hours. Day 5: Transfer to Belize

Ambergris Caye
Day 5-8
Day 5: Early morning to get on a bus + ferry to cross into Belize, afternoon spent on the island Day 6: Golf cart rental to explore the island + visit beaches (included) Day 7: Hol Chan Marine Reserve snorkeling (included) Day 8: Ferry to mainland (Belize City), Shuttle to San Ignacio, check into hostel and get settled

San Ignacio
Day 8-11
Day 8: Ferry to mainland (Belize City), Shuttle to San Ignacio, check into hostel and get settled Day 9: ATM Cave (included - please let me know if you would like to opt out, I know everyone isn't comfortable with tight spaces, darkness, etc) Day 10: Free time to explore the town or jungle

Flores
Day 11-14
Day 11: Cross the border into Guatemala, check into hostel in Flores, explore the city Day 12: Tikal National Park (Included) Day 13: Free day to explore (I am interested in checking out Jorge's Rope Swing)

San Agustín Lanquín
Day 14-17
Day 14: Long travel day by shuttle to Lanquin (approx 7-8 hours), check into hostel Day 15: Excursion to Semuc Champey (included) Day 16: Free time to explore in nature, relax by the pool, visit the city, etc.

Panajachel
Day 17-20
Day 17: Long travel day by shuttle to Panajachel (base for Lake Atitlan), check into hostel and get settled Day 18: Kayak + Hiking Tour (included) Day 19: Free day to explore the lake and villages around it - I will be going to Santa Catarina Palopo if anyone wanted to join, they are famous for their colorful houses

Antigua Guatemala
Day 20-22
Day 20: Early morning transfer to Antigua, walking tour with guide upon arrival (included), hike to Cerro de la Cruz for a lookout of the city Day 21: Pacaya volcano day hike (included) Day 22: Departure day. Thank you for joining me on this trip!
